[Patron-Only Feed] Slow and Steady... Am I winning?

This month's been a fairly productive one; nice! I took an extended break this passed week, I hope you don't mind! I worked just a tiny bit too much last week. I meant to take a break last week, but I didn't because I got distracted by work.

So I apologize for the general lateness of this Patron-Only Post.

Premature Awakening & Scheduling:

I meant to draw today but I was woken up earlier in the day than expected to deal with some thing and I had to lift some stuff because I'm big and strong. So I was short on sleep. But it's okay; I'm trying to be much more okay with spending more time away from work.

Experimenting with how I spend my time is a major point of this month; how much I need to work for it to be considered acceptable, how much I can rest, etc. It's a bit trickier to decide what I want to draw with my primary $3 Illustrations because of how much more freedom I have given myself, so that's factoring in too. 

Ideally, I'd be spending my time making really amazing illustrations, but a lot of my sketches look like completed images too, so I really shouldn't stress on perfection.

Concept Art & Discussion:

If you were not previously aware, I introduced a new format to the $7 Patreon Reward Tier -- it's all about longer discussions about the development of my ideas. 

This weekend saw the release of our very second installment in that format, and it was all about the design for the Vampire Queen (Elayne Beaumont-verse). She still doesn't have an actual name beyond her title, but she looks much cooler now.

I'd like to explore the visual design for the Elayne Beaumont concept (maybe we should call that 'The Morning Sun' or something) further in the future. I'd really like to introduce some more creepy elements to the concept over time.

Games & Stuff:

Resident Evil 2 & Kingdom Hearts 3 are releasing soon, and Monster Hunter World will be having an event festival pretty soon too... That's a lot of games to take part in!

I played the demo for Resident Evil 2 a few times, and I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the game. I don't like Claire's Classic Outfit though -- they completely removed the black sleeves from her outfit, and I feel like her additional newly exposed skin makes for a less appealing design. Ah well.

I haven't played a Kingdom Hearts since KH2, so I'm definitely out of the narrative loop, but you can't just skip KH3! It's like... A game that was never coming out!

On the subject of games, I've been playing through Bloodborne with my friend, Psudonym, and it's been enjoyable. We started the DLC, which I'm glad to see still offered a challenge.  I hope I'm able to spare some time to draw some Bloodborne-related arts some time.

Anyway, it hasn't been a very exciting week. It was very chill. I'm going to spend the rest of the month focusing on illustrations for the $3 Reward Tier, and catching up on a few more NSFW Suggestions for the $10 Reward Tier. In the meantime...
