[Patron-Only Feed] Is this a source of food for patrons?

This month saw a solid number of $3 illustrations during the first few weeks, so I focused on the NSFW Sketch Suggestions and Concept Art Discussion rewards this week. That being said, I think it might be nice to get one more $3 illustration out before the end of the month. The priority for the next week, however, should be on more NSFW Sketch Suggestions.

Concept Art Discussion

The last Concept Art Discussion thread seems to have been well-received, even prompting a neat discussion in the Discord. It involved some greater details about a character of mine, Amaranth, as well as something of magic's role. You can see that HERE.

These posts are tougher than I thought, and they are so time-consuming to conceptualize, sketch, and write. I spent approximately 8 hours JUST writing the thing that very day. I really should think about them much earlier in the month even when I'm not ready to begin them. Either way, glad they seem to be liked, despite being such a niche interest.

Higher Quality Works

Some, for lack of a better descriptor, higher-quality works were produced this months - as far as rendering goes, that is. They were fun and challenging to create, though I've yet to determine just how worthwhile they are to do. I'll play around with them some more and see just how well they do on social media as well.

They do have a habit of being quite static -- a common trait in my art, I think -- but a quality which is made worse with refined art that loses the gesture & flow found in sketches. The shape usage and poses just don't feel organic, so that might be something to think about.

I'd like to make a habit of creating more ambitious, higher-quality creations, however. 

A NSFW Outlet

Since Tumblr made itself no longer viable as an art platform for me, I haven't been posting very many of my extreme NSFW illustrations online. Being based primarily around Twitter, there's just some of it I don't really want mixing with my current stuff.

I think I really need to settle on a location that I can just reliably shove more objectionable NSFW content onto, though sadly, still, nothing's quite as accessible as tumblr was.

NewTumbl seems like a worthwhile alternative TO tumblr, but in order to see NSFW content, you will have to register for an account. This is made in the interests of keeping everyone safe, but not ideal. Not everyone wants to make an account since it's not a mainstream site.

So I might just start mass dumping content onto Pixiv or Piczel. It's the kind of thing that I'd dump and forget though, so I'm not liable to be maintaining the most active presence like I did with my old NSFW tumblr.

Next Month

I'm thinking about dabbling with game development again in the following month. I could probably spend some time just re-learning during my free time, but actively making it a point to do. It's good to learn new skills.
