[Patron-Only Feed] Stuff n' Things

Good handful of NSFW sketches, but that is most of what I've done lately.

I managed to receive a handful of brand new visitors willing to support me, and I thank you all. The hypnosis tweet advertising my Patreon probably paid off... Maybe I'll get lucky and it will appear on hypnohub and then I will suddenly become rich and have a private jet. Heheh. I don't much make a habit of promoting myself, it doesn't come easily to me.
Anyway, howdy!
For those of you who are unaware of my general schedule: I like to spend the first few days of the month thinking about the direction of the month. I post NSFW sketches in batches, usually at the end of the week. I try to give myself plenty of time to breathe during the week and ensure a high enough quality for you. Beyond that, I also take quite a bit of time for the long concept art posts that appear later in the month. These are one of the Featured Tags.
Examples of which HERE and HERE. ($7 Patrons)
Otherwise, finished illustrations get posted when they're finished, and sketches are added to the Dropbox Archive over the course of the month. You can always find a link to the most recent Archive link from the Featured Tags on the Front Page. ($7 Patrons)
I try to make a Patron-Only Feed update every 7-10 days, so even $1 Patrons can be kept in the loop and see previews of stuff that's happened as of recently.
So yeah, that's an opener! If you ever have any questions or concerns about the experience I offer, just let me know. I want to make it work as best I can for you!

Think, Thank, Thunk...
I've spent a lot of time thinking lately about prospective directions to move in. As I tend to do, albeit with limited results. If you've kept an eye on my twitter, you've almost certainly seen my ego's downward spiraling and creative musings.
We're about a quarter through the year, and while some nice pieces of art have been made, I feel as though I haven't really done anything substantial.
Last month, we saw some higher quality works that typically take longer to make. They're a wonderful direction to move in, although I'm not sure they necessarily get more attention than my sketches. Unimaginative sketches can only last so long before losing their appeal, however. I'd like to be overall more ambitious.
When the year started, I expressed wanting to slow down to ensure works of higher quality, but I must admit that I still find it difficult to do. I struggle with not putting enough out at a fast enough rate. Working too long to create something makes me feel anxious, and it's a feeling that I constantly battle, but I hope I can get into a nice groove soon.
When will I make something worthwhile?
I often find myself asking just what it is that I want to do. What is worth my time? What will people even care to see?
Honestly, I'm not sure people would care to see anything in particular of mine, but I do know that I'm definitely not feeling fulfilled. That's something a lot of you long-time patrons know by now though, because I never stop talking about it, haha!
I would like to have SOMETHING substantial to show off by the end of the year though. I do not need to finish what I start, but I'd like to at least START and reach a point where what I'm doing is clearly constructive.
Making things is hard though, and starting them is even harder.
I often talk about Fem!Link & Elayne Beaumont stories, so those are some directions to go in. I think it may be best to impulsively jump into these things, because of how hard it is to start. That being said, they are intimidating prospects, so starting small is a good idea too. The optimal course of action may be to create "pilot" episodes, so to speak; standalone products that communicate the desired tone so I can get a good feel for what I want to do.
I hope to make efforts to perhaps accomplish this soon.
Clean up, clean up, everybody clean up!
For months now, my chair has been hurting my sacrum unless I'm sitting at a perfect 90 degrees, and while, yes, my posture should be better, I think I need to get a new chair that makes doing so easier. In addition to a new chair, I'd also like to get a new desk (and maybe computer) to upgrade my workspace in the future. That being said, I don't expect to see any major upgrades to my workspace for a while though. Not with my current level of income.
I still need to finish up cleaning my area though; I've made some decent progress lately and I should keep it up. I should tackle the big problem areas and worry about fine tuning the smaller messes sometime afterwards. I've still got a bunch of cardboard boxes to discard!
Overhauling my space has been something I've talked about a bit recently, but I've been a bit lazy with it this last week. I've reverted to a nocturnal sleep schedule, and it's made it difficult to be productive during the day (the best time to clean), so I'm trying to fix that.
So that's where I'm at currently. Still nothing too big to talk about, but looking to make some steps towards bigger things.
Don't forget to eat & sleep!
