Mamaranth

I wish I had thought out this piece a bit more; the background & colours are not as good as I might like, but it's not like they're particularly offensive either. I'm took a bit too long on this.
Although the hands were not exactly intended to be focal points for this piece, they look surprisingly nice despite the fact. They're not crazily-rendered, but just the little bit of paint suggesting knuckles is pretty neat. My favourite part of this piece is the left-most arm. The rendering on the cloth is has a nice mix of hard & soft edges, and there's a subtle transition between colour temperatures.
Don't forget to eat & sleep.
