2024-05-04 04:39:43 +0000 UTCI hate A.I. but if you want a really good example of technology replacing an existing field look at whaling. In 1903 whaling was the biggest industry maybe in the world. Then fossil fuels came in and in 1.5 years whaling was gone.

It's been a bit since I've been down to Chicago, to the Brookfield Zoo. Not to be confused with the Milwaukee County Zoo, in Brookfield WI. :D
