I am absolutely obsessed with your idea for creating a journal. I'm planning on getting a master's in library science and one of my biggest gripes surrounding the field is access (who has it, who can get it, and who can understand it). I think it's absolutely ridiculous how much money and time goes into getting important/relevant research and findings out into the world. And even once they're "out there" barely anyone can put that information to good use. In order to write my graduate school admissions essay I had to go to my public library anytime I wanted to work on it in order to access any kind of academic journal, so I wouldn't have to pay for it (already gotta pay for the schooling so why heap more money on top, you know?). I can't remember if it was this video or another one where you mentioned that news subscription that lists biases and stuff. But that's something I've always talked about after learning how to disect information in undergrad. You can't just read one article somewhere and create an informed opinion, not without knowing all the background and what the author(s) can gain from their take on the information. Anyways long story short... I'm really grateful to find someone with a platform talking about this stuff, not just me and my liberal arts degree graduate friends lol.
