The old sling bikini design works because it's a bit like a ribbon wrapping a present.

As I said on Twitter, I'm a simple kind of guy: If I see an Elayne pic, I like it. This one in particular is nice because of the juxtoposition of her wearing something so close her old Frank Frazetta-inspired outfit along with the slight blush on her cheeks and the sheer craziness of the whole situation.
