In the recent Concept Art post, I unveiled a portion of the 1st draft for the upcoming Beaumont comic – its opening.
I had been working on the outline for a while, so I wanted to provide some payoff to your patience over the last year. I will be working on the script & concept art now that I have a solid direction, but I want to work on a few smaller projects in the meantime too.
With all that, however, I am done for the month. Check the Dropbox Archive because there are a few exclusive doodles in there. Not many, but yeah.
The plans I had at the beginning of this month ended up changing, so I’ll need to readjust. But I think the basic formula for April can be repeated in May. I didn’t get a lot of new patrons, so I will need to resume commissions – but I would like to prepare a lot of other work, so I have things to actively work towards in between commissions. I hope to take care of that before long.
I did end up feeling a bit tired, so the second half of this month was slower while I worked on the script. I will probably need to make some adjustments to my work schedule.
What did you think about the feel of this month compared to usual?

I thought there was great variety and more than enough content for April. Great works as always and like everyone else says, make sure to take care of yourself

2022-04-30 03:20:38 +0000 UTCI feel like this month went really well. You did a lot of great art all throughout April and you also worked a bit more on concept work. Also, like what Cal said, remember to pace yourself and take time to unwind if needed.
