October "Magitek Empire" Preview

Today I am revealing a few models from next month's second Magitek Empire set.
The set will include the following:
- 5 Grenadiers
- 5 Chasseurs
- 3 Hussars (light Cavalry)
- Artillery and Crew
- 3 Fulgur Sentinels
- 2 Heroes
And, if I can afford the time, I will try to fit a few more surprises.
Details of the previewed models:
One of the Chasseurs, the Empire's scouts and expert marksmen.
A Grenadier. The set will include a Grenadier officer and an alternative weapon.
An Onager Sentinel, a magical automaton tasked to support and protect an artillery gun and its human crew.
And a Fulgur Sentinel, the smallest and fastest of the Magitek combat automatons.

2022-09-10 13:04:24 +0000 UTCThe theme is inspiring, and if the set is well received I'd definitely like to work on a third one; and I've got a few ideas for more automatons, soldiers, and heroes. :-) And, yes, I am trying to make the models more versatile. For example the Grenadier's backpack could be a boiler, or fuel tank, or house magic crystals, and the gun could work as a flamethrower, shoot a steam jet, or project magical vapors.
2022-09-09 20:45:55 +0000 UTCAltough I love every set, Magitek's are the ones I love most. Not only for it's artistic merit, but because of it's versatility. Most units can be used in a variety of settings, so they can see action against orcs in the year 40000 or at the gates of Mordor like things. Not to mention piracy and or astral vessels, and even steampunk.
