To his relief, the side road was devoid of people. Sniffling quietly, tears rolling down his flushed cheeks, his fluffy ears hanging limply by the sides of his head, Izuku kept his gaze trained downwards, his hands clenched around the straps of his pack. Katsuki wouldn’t hesitate to track him down if he kept him waiting for much longer, and was more than likely already mad so he wouldn’t take any of Izuku’s excuses. All he could hope for was that Katsuki had gone out to try to find him, leaving him with enough time to, hopefully, he able to scrub the Alpha’s scent off him. 

A violent shudder wracked Izuku’s body. He clamped a hand over his mouth as a fresh wave of nausea slammed into him. Coming to a stop, his legs trembling, Izuku squatted down, curling in on himself as he struggled not to burst into hysterics once more. It felt like only a few seconds had passed when he heard a door closing behind him. Blinking blearily, Izuku was startled to find them standing in the entrance to Katsuki’s apartment. 

Kicking off his shoes, Katsuki went straight to the bathroom. He plopped Izuku onto the toilet then turned to the shower. Still sniffling, sensing where this was going, Izuku stood and undressed, clumsily folding his clothes as he went, leaving a messy pile on the back of the toilet. Cool air nipped at his skin. He took a step towards the shower but stopped dead when he caught sight of himself in the mirror. Izuku slowly turned, his eyes widening in horror. Fresh tears welled up in the corners of his eyes, clinging to his long lashes for a moment before streaming down his cheeks. He didn’t breathe for a few moments as he slowly reached up to touch a bright red, visible bite mark on his right shoulder. No…no, no, no…when had he-? A layer of ice coated his muscles. When he had kicked him, the Alpha…he had grabbed the back of his shirt and yanked him back. Izuku had been so focused on just getting out of there, he only barely noticed the sharp pain in his shoulder. There was no blood…no visible puncture wounds, and when his fingers touched it, it was dry and smooth – no broken skin or scraps.

Frowning down at him, looking as though he was trying really hard to be annoyed but couldn’t, Katsuki sighed, “So, who was the Alpha who decided it’d be a good idea to piss me off?”

“Ah…” Izuku’s smile faded, “I don’t know his name. He works at the café near my school.”

Katsuki nodded. He leaned down to press a soft kiss to Izuku’s temple, “Leave it to me. I’ll make sure he never looks at you again.”

“You aren’t gonna hurt him, are you?”

“I am.” Katsuki replied nonchalantly, resting his chin on Izuku’s shoulder, “I won’t kill him but,” those bright red eyes flickered over to catch his gaze, “the fucker is gonna learn what happens when he touches someone else’s Omega.”
