She's used to his mischief though and uses the opportunity to unwind after an apparently long day…Also in this week's package you'll get two completed commissions for Kayla-Na and Ozawk!

All patrons who have successfully pledged in the past will be receiving their standard-resolution rewards via email soon, while Prefects will receive their Hi-Rez/PSD rewards on May 5th, after they've been successfully billed.

Now, on to the announcement!-

TL;DR: I'm switching to a monthly scheme in June with slightly lower prices per tier and a focus on expanding the Waystone universe :). It will look like I'm triple charging you near the end of the month but really it's just paying for June's content in advance on June 1st...need to know more? Read on!

Recently, Patreon has made available the functionality for patrons to be charged up front for their monthly payment to any given Patreon. This makes things a TON easier for the both of us as now, you won't have to wait five days after the end of the month to receive your respective download packs and I won't have to hunt down as many fake/ robotic accounts that are just here to poach the stuff in the feed! This has been a long time coming and I'm glad to see Patreon has finally made some progress in this area.

As the switch is permanent and not immediate, I won't be able to switch over right away. Instead, May will operate as usual, with two updates on the 15th (today) and the 30th.

This means you will be billed the standard $2 (Tippers), $6 (Waykeeper), and $14 (Prefect) for the month of May.

I'll then switch over the Patreon to Monthly on the last day of May (the 31st) before the system will once again charge you on the 1st of June for next month's content. That may seem like a lot, but think of it as growing pains as we transition from one billing method to another!

The good news is that, starting in June, I'll be billing you differently as well. The new prices are:

Tip Jar- $2 per month

Waykeeper- $5 per month

Prefect- $9 per month

I'll be doing fewer commissions in the future, instead focusing on expanding the Waystone universe, designing the occasional dakimakura and doing YCH-style auctions. So what will I promise, per month, under this new billing system?

-At least 2 main-story Waystone comic pages

-At least 2 side-story/ secondary project images

-at least 1 YCH or Personal work

So how will this work?

Patreon will now charge you upfront. This means your payment will be processed immediately and once cleared, you can can access the content I post in the feed (usually comic pages and the occasional Waystone themed pinup/ask. After the initial pledge, you'll then be charged on the 1st of each month.

For example, if you sign up on the 25th of June, you'll be charged the appropriate amount for the tier you chose, and then again for July on the 1st. That probably sounds like you're getting charged twice, and you might be thinking "...I might as well wait until July", if you do, you will only get July's content in the Patreon feed. If you wait, the feed will not reveal the content for the previous month. If you want access to the previous material, you'll have to order it via the –Previous content order form--

You must pledge during a certain month in order to get the content for that month. If your pledge is declined the system will automatically try to bill you again every 2 business days.

At the end of the month, I send out Dropbox linked files with all the content for your respective tier for that month. flooding the feed with all of it will just make it cluttered and confusing.

In short,- I don't have to artificially delay updates to account for payment processing any more. From now on I have a page ready, I can just post it in the feed when I feel like it since I know everyone in the feed has already paid!
