The Road behind and ahead... 2017 ho!

The road behind:

When I started this patreon, it was more or less meant to serve as a platform from which I could finish working on “A Long Way Down” after being let go from Sexyfur.com, but over time it developed into something much more for me; a way of life.

With your support, I’ve completed four full comics using this patreon, as well as several other works such as high-definition pinups and dakimakura, and once again I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Going forward, I’d like to focus more on world-buidling, character and set design as well as maybe even sliding a few new tricks up my sleeve such as animations and visual novels, but in order to do that I have to reshuffle my schedule and prioritize, which leads me to:

The road ahead:

If I’m going to tell stories and learn new things, I only have so much time in the day to do so. As you know, art is a time-consuming process, with at least 1-2 days being spent on most pieces you see turn up in the feed (at least 3-4 days per comic page, that’s working at full-tilt, 10 hours per day).

Yeah...I’m uh...slow.

The further we go with this patreon, the more I realize that there are only really two options if I want to produce quality material without stressing myself out: Either I dedicate myself to doing commissions for people non-stop (which I’m sure that’s not what you’re here for) or I dedicate myself completely to producing comics and material involving my own characters (with the occasional Prefect cameo of course!).

Now, there are some artists who can be satisfied in doing nothing but commissions and not telling stories, but I’m not one of them, so I have to drop the wing-it commission slots for now, guys. Sorry!

WAIT DON’T GO! This is a good thing! For you Patrons, it means:

The Endgame

To be honest...there isn’t one. I once had an over-arching storyline for Waystone in mind but now I’m thinking I just wanna tell slice-of-life stories set in the world to explore how mortals, djinn, and Oracles interact and erm...’get along’ heheh ^_^;;. No big wars, no save-the-world scenarios, just people and um...weirder people muddling through somehow, ya know?

2017 goals

Here’s a little list of things I’d like to achieve in 2017, with your support!

• Construction of a pinup roster for you to choose from
• Construction of a daki roster for you to choose from
• More asks!
• More image sets (I’ll hopefully ask for writer submissions for those, pen-smiths charge your lasers!)
• And of course, more main-story with Artemis, Tsenaya, Nailah and more!
