Added 2018-07-24 10:16:32 +0000 UTCI'm hoping the statue/sand effect in the first and second panels will work properly in the final version. Also if you look closely, the remnants of his ears will be visible in the second panel, which I personally find to be pretty creepy, but the idea here is that her dreams are crumbling away right in front of her. Behind them in the distance stands the ominous, judging figure of her mother.
I really wanna get across the relationship these two have and that Tsenaya really does worry about what her mom thinks of her and tries to please her when she can. The Nailah we see in the dream obviously isn't the real one, and will be even harsher than the real thing. Little-Tsen's gonna get a tongue lashing...but not the nice kind!
Don't worry, I fully intend to give her the nice kind later on ;).

That's really strange, in Skin deep whe didn't see Tsenaya close to her mom, so what's happened ? ^^ i'm curious
