Back from Eurofurence 24!
Added 2018-08-31 21:46:04 +0000 UTCDespite bringing back a pretty nasty cold, I had an awesome time at Eurofurence hanging out with everyone I could find the time to do so with, and just enjoying the atmosphere filled with like-minded people!
After Eurofurence and showing my buddy Mad Mable what I could of Berlin, we traveled to Venice to hang out with Ozawk, who works in the area.
We road-tripped to Florence where we had an awesome time checking out the city, and the statue of David (with his world-famous junk on full display)! We also stopped by Pisa and checked out the tower with balance issues before jetting back to Venice so I could fly home :).
A wonderful time was had and it’s all thanks to you! Thanks again for supporting me everyone- Look forward to more exciting projects soon!

2018-09-01 23:42:48 +0000 UTCThey say that's deliberate. The head and hands are larger to emphasize the way he defeated Goliath and perhaps to enhance perspective. As for the small genitals... well that's an Ancient Greek thing. Classical Greek architecture heavily influenced Michelangelo's work.

2018-09-01 00:31:11 +0000 UTCYeah, looking at the actual sculpture and not a copy the head and hands seem too big for his body, but far be it from me to critisize Michaelangelo! He carved the thing from a solid piece of rock and it's not like he could use the CTRL-Z Command ;).

2018-09-01 00:12:29 +0000 UTCHahah I can see what you mean- that's just the light and the way it's shot. I have a MUCH better photo of the "real" David that actually sits in a museum that was taken with a friend's phone. Once he gets that photo to me I'll replace the main image with a nicer one :).
