"Adrift" WIP

For the past week or so I've been working on a longstanding commission for Synariel, which has been sitting in my queue since I finished Quick Study!
It's been a long time in the works, but I finally made some time this month to work on this cute image featuring his characters Evarist and Flyssa in afterglow after some good times in their cabin aboard a sailing vessel!
As you can see, of the three options presented, Synariel chose option C, which was my favorite as well. The most interesting part was getting the background to be interesting from this angle, and I find the elephant-hookah (visible in one of his previous commissions from another artist) really serves as an eye-catching element that will hopefully be fun to paint once I get around to it.
I just wanted to show you all that I'm not being lazy this month and that, despite needing to sacrifice the two Sleepless Nights pages to squeeze this commission in, I still intend to complete that pinup featuring Ceda after I finish with these two!
