Actually, it's kind of interesting to think about what sorts of relations Bexley might have had prior to Carmen during her tenure as a professor, or even as a grad student! At 32, she's pretty young for a professor, so I'd wager this probably happened when she was slightly younger than we see her in Quick Study.
I had actually forgotten what a college lecture hall looked like! It's been years since I went to college and once I looked up some reference I remembered how claustrophobic those things can be. Guh, it's not nice remembering all the harsh times I had in college, but things get better when you imagine Bexley standing out front instead of [insert literally any real-life professor here]...
