- Changed the color atmosphere/pallette so it's not so "pink"
- Complete re-draw of Panel 5.
- Tweaks to Panel 6
At first I didn't think pink would work for Cebron's apron, but then it dawned on me that it looks good on Nailah, so why not her guardian-snake!
The most challenging bit on this page was definitely the food...I don't draw food terribly often so getting it to look edible was definitely a new experience. I looked at a lot of Miyazaki food from his movies to get a feel for how it's illustrated and now I understand why he exaggerates it so much. The second you try to be modest with illustrating food, it just seems to feel really dull, lifeless, and ultimately unappetizing, which isn't good for storytelling purposes.
