When the elves emerged from the cave, night had already fallen.

Thanks to that, we made our way back to the kingdom. We informed the other troops that we had killed the goblin leader before returning to the barracks. It was the end of the day.

Everything had gone smoothly.

The kidnapped elves were safe, and though some goblin remnants remained, it was only a matter of time before they were wiped out now that their leader was dead.
