Kim Heeyeon hummed a cheerful tune while cooking a meal for her husband. Lately, she had been in a noticeably better mood.

But the reason for her good mood wasn’t because she was preparing food for her husband.

She had recently started dating someone—her lover, Seorina. The thought of their upcoming date filled her with excitement.

Her husband, Kim Jisan, was usually blunt and had sharp eyes. There wasn’t much affection between them, but because they had been married for some time, Kim Heeyeon could tell he seemed happier than usual.

“I made lunch. Come eat.”
