Kim Jisan was going about his usual workday. During lunch, while eating, his phone suddenly vibrated.

“It’s here,” he thought.

He opened the TopTalk app on his phone to check the new message. It was from Cha Daehyuk.

[Preliminary training completed.]

[I’ll edit the video and send you the link this evening.]

The message was brief. It simply mentioned that the preliminary training was done and the edited video would be sent later that evening.

After reading it, Jisan put his phone down and continued eating his lunch.

Later that day, he returned home after work.

“You’re back?”

Heeyeon greeted him, looking a little more cheerful than usual.

“Want to eat first?” she asked.

“Sure…” Jisan replied.

He sat at the table and began eating the meal Heeyeon had prepared. As they ate, he asked her casually,

“How was the massage?”

“Oh, the massage? It was amazing!” she said brightly, as if she had been waiting for the question.

“Just like you said, it really worked. I was so relaxed, I nearly fell asleep.”

“I felt the same way…” Jisan replied.

“You too? Hehe.”

Heeyeon burst out laughing, amused that even the normally stiff and expressionless Jisan had dozed off during his massage. Her smile made Jisan's opinion of Cha Daehyuk rise.

‘I guess he did a good job keeping everything under wraps.’

Since he already had a general idea of what the preliminary training involved, he figured everything went smoothly. She seemed genuinely happy, unaware of any hidden details.

“Feeling refreshed?” he asked.

“Yes. I felt great when I woke up. The place you recommended really was something else. Oh, and the director mentioned that you arranged for me to stop by regularly? Thank you.”

That hadn’t actually happened.

But Jisan quickly understood that Cha Daehyuk had made it up to support the assistant involved in her training, so he went along with it.

“Yeah, staying home all the time isn’t great. Take care of yourself and get massages regularly.”

“Thank you, Jisan.”

Heeyeon felt grateful for her husband’s thoughtfulness.

Not only was she thankful for his unusual gesture, but she was also happy that she would now have a reason to see Seorina’s face again—even if it wasn’t during an actual date.

“The meal was good” he said after finishing the meal.

He then stood up and headed toward the studio he usually used for work at home.

“Do you still have work to do?” Heeyeon asked.

She found it odd since he typically relaxed on the sofa and watched TV after dinner.

“Yeah, I might be up late. Go ahead and sleep first.”

“Okay. Work hard.”

Jisan entered the studio and closed the door behind him.

He turned on the computer, plugged in his earphones, and launched TopTalk, which was already connected to the system.

While enjoying the taste of his beer, he picked up his phone and made a call.

“Oh my, Oppa~ What’s up?” Came a cheerful voice on the other end.

“Hey, Yu Miran. How was the video? Jisan said that the video turned out to be great.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. He said it was even better than he expected.”

“Haha! Did he get you excited too after watching it?”

“Heh, maybe a little. Honestly, even after the edits, I thought some parts were a bit rough. Have you not improved your editing skills or something?”

“Hey~ Who do you think I am? I am video specialist Yu Miran we’re talking about! I used to edit your videos as a hobby, and now I’ve even got a video editing certificate!”

“Alright, alright. Let’s go eat some beef tomorrow.”
