Holly questioned Felix while they walked towards the Guild house. The boy glimpsed upon the face with some make-up on, before smiling.

 "I am in for the thrill of the adventure. Father wants me to be a bureaucrat, but over the years I came to the conclusion that such boring life is not for me."

His passionate speech impressed the blonde.

 "Hahah.. beautifully said. What is the fun of sitting around in a stupid office and staring at the same doors and walls all day long? What a waste of life..!"

Realizing that their thinking matched perfectly, Holly became much more frank with him.

Previously she could only have a limited discussion with him when he paid them a visit, bringing an injured Tyler along. It was only later did Ira informed her about his background.

"How far do you plan to go?"

Felix was puzzled at her question, scratching his head.

 "What do you mean?"

 Holly turned to beam a smile back at him.

"I mean do you want to take up this job full time? Otherwise, you can also decide to work part-time and focus some of your time advancing your cultivation."

"That's a given. Cultivation is very important. I want to make a big name for myself. Can't do the same with such a measly level of mine."

The more Holly talked to him, the more impressed she got.

'It makes sense why Jane took him in.'

They kept chatting freely until arriving at the doorsteps of the guild house. Holly took the lead and brought him to the reception.

 "Ms. Camilla, can you please hook this guy up with a license?"

Holly noticed his lingering gaze as well. But she can't really blame him, Ms. Camilla did have some splendid mounds.

 "Good afternoon, Mrs. Holly."

The blonde turned her attention to the boy who had tagged along. It was a new face.

 "May I know your name, young man?"

"That will be Felix."

 "He is Baron Bruno's brat actually."

 Holly added, just to lend some validity to his identity. Once the receptionist got to know his family and that Holly was here as his guarantor, she didn't waste any time and swiftly led the kid through his licensing process.

"You can pick it up in two days, Mr. Felix."

Not leaving right then, she brought him to a table and ordered some ale for both of them.

"I guess you were enamored by our receptionist... hehe.."

Holly tried to tease the kid but Felix only chuckled lightly in response.

"Hehe.. for sure. "

His answer left Holly a bit surprised. Usually, men this age will show some modesty while discussing the relationship between man and woman.

But not Felix, it seemed. He handled the matter much more maturely. She was about to further press him on, when he opened his mouth again, apparently continuing with his earlier thought.

A shocked Holly only recovered after a while.

"Damn.. those are some impressive lines. Then.. you are telling me that a lady like Ms. Camilla doesn't impress you at all?"

 At this point, Holly was genuinely interested in knowing the kid.

"Well.."

 Felix took another glance at lady working diligently on the counter.

"Hmm.. and what will that be?"

"That even I don't know. But one thing is for sure... I would like to spend my time with strong women."

Holly tilted her head to the side.

"I hope you are not pointing your guns at me."

Her words were said in a jovial tone, making both of them have a good laugh.

Once again, his words left the woman stunned and speechless at the same time. Nevertheless, with sheer willpower, she suppressed those urges.

'Control it, Holly.. This will be too low even by your standards.'
