The next day, Miyoung went to work as usual.

But unlike her usual composed self, her heart was fluttering with anticipation as she waited for someone to arrive.

Normally, more team members would still be around even during vacation season. But this time, she had passed off her business trip to others, and the remaining team members had all gone on urgent assignments.

As a result, only she and Joohyun were left in the department.

‘There are still a few days until everyone comes back from their vacations and trips… So in the meantime, Joohyun and I can…’

Miyoung had been too distracted to focus on her work. The moment she saw Joohyun, her heart began pounding even faster, and a bright smile formed on her face.

She could’ve just sent everything by email, but instead, she stood right next to him and explained each task in detail. She was desperate to stay a little closer.
