I love that you went through this whole list, doubting yourself every time, and you had them 100% right! And yeah, the "I don't know how to say this word because I've only seen it in text" is extremely relatable. Edit: Okay, you did get a couple wrong but those were either a) italian or b) nautical, you did fine!

2023-12-21 19:17:59 +0000 UTCThat backstory. I don't even. I had no idea forecastle was pronounced that way. Learned something today. But pronunciation of old sailing words are in their own special class of fucked. And a lot of the food words at the end I still have no clue what they are.
