I'm loosing My Buster😢
Added 2021-02-17 18:00:14 +0000 UTCI'm such a mess over this. My poor baby. When I got up this morning he was panting and coughing to the point where he was falling over and couldn't stand up. He was losing oxygen. I saw him on my lap and I saw a faint pink blood dripping out of his mouth onto the floor. I took him straight to the vet and I've been here for hours and they've been giving him Lasix shots to see if it helps his breathing. They had given him oxygen and that didn't work. I just went in and looked at him and he's not looking any better. He's a little blue and is really having labored breathing. They took some blood work and some X-rays and she thinks it's end stage heart problems. She's giving him one more shot of Lasix to see if it does any good. If not I think I'm going to have to put him to sleep. I never had to do that to a dog before. I'm such a mess right now I'm crying all over the place. I love him so much and I hate to lose him. There is nothing else I can do if you can't breathe. I can't take him home like that and have him just died suffering.
