Still sick

As you all know, I have COPD / emphysema. I have been sick the last week or two. I have some upper respiratory problems and it is really flaring up my emphysema. I'm having a really hard time breathing. It's the second time I've been to the doctors in the last 2 weeks. They have just put me on an antibiotic. I was on steroids but they weren't doing anything except making my body hurt. I am hoping this antibiotic works because if not I'm going to have to get back to the hospital. I'm not looking forward to that because they're just going to pump me with steroids again. It doesn't make my body feel very good, especially after you stop them. I can barely do anything or I'm gasping for air.
