"Tutorial" Character Poll
Added 2025-01-07 21:16:20 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I've been thinking of ways to make the tutorial parts of HL more interesting and eye-grabbing.
We have these moments in the game where we explain the mechanics, but people still get stuck.
So, I want to rewrite them a bit, but I also want something more eye-catching for the player.
My idea is to have a Tutorial Character, a cutie whose whole role is to pop up and be attention-grabbing so you read the tutorial. Or (this is Noba's idea), we have a sprite for Me, RadLord, to pop up and explain stuff to the player.
Or don't do this at all :D

2025-01-07 21:21:50 +0000 UTCSo, I would agree either a eye-catching character for the tutorial, or I like the other users comment of a chibi rad lord. But, I would also like to say that it would be interesting to have a femboy version of your character because I do think you as the creator should have your character represented in game someway, and I feel like a purely tutorial character that is designed just to get people's attention would potentially make them think that that character might become romanceable or whatever throughout the game, so having it be an eye-catching and attention grabbing character while also making it very clear that this character is a "meta" character by being the creator, I think would be a good way to make it work. Plus, that lets your artist have fun making a femboy version of your character!
