2025-06-28 20:14:39 +0000 UTCThe UK scene was very comedy heavy for a long long time. People like Lunar carried it (and battled some Americans but there was a pretty huge culture divide. And then people like Tony D, and then Soul (who is a top three battle rapper of all time, imo) started changing the style by just being incredible writers, and killing Americans regularly with the styles. So nowadays it still has a lot of comedy but is far closer to URL/RBE in style.
