Our Super Adventure - Relatable Pain

So Stef was running downstairs a few mornings ago to answer the door, and he managed to stub his toe on one of the cat's water bowls!

Later that day, we were watching some episodes from the final season of Lost (we've been watching through it again recently!) and when a certain character gets a certain character to do a thing to another character, and it all ends up involving a fire pit (trying v. hard not to spoil the story here!) - Stef announced "hey, that's what it felt like when I stubbed my toe!" and we both totally cracked up!

He keeps doing it, too! (Saying the thing, not stubbing his toe, thankfully!). We've been playing a lot of World War Z on PS4 (It's like a spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead 2, one of the first games we started playing together!), and it definitely gets said by Stef during the game, hence my combining of the two in the comic above - let's call it "Lost War Z"!

Also, hey! We're at TCAF this weekend! It's a free comic event at Toronto Reference Library and I'll be signing at the Oni Press table on Saturday from 9:30-11am, and on Sunday from 2:30-4pm! Hope to see you there (if you live in Toronto, obviously!)
