The Conquest of Bread

Hello friends. As I work on projects that actually pay me and I examine my precious free time and what I would like to create, I find myself torn. There is a game I have wanted to make for awhile based (loosely) on Kropotkin's The Conquest of Bread.

Where so many games have individualist goals and means, this game will emphasize social solutions to problems.

It is a platformer where you play a sentient slice of bread brought to life by Pyotr himself. As you run and jump, you can slice yourself into other sentient breads which run and jump along with you, helping as the level gets progressively more difficult.

I'm faced with two issues:

Since you are here supporting me in what I make, I thought it might make sense to ask for help and advice.

Should I make this game? I have wanted to challenge myself to see how quickly I can make a game. If I do make it, where should it take place? A city? The Spanish Civil War?

I know I want to make a chip-tunes version of this song to be the primary music in-game.

Thank you for your help!
