I've decided it's high time to lay out the room in the clinic where our lovely couple is to deliver their babies. Technically, this room is right next to Dr. Mei's office, which means she can keep an eye on her charges. Here Link reassures his beloved as she is about to be taken in a few minutes for a C-section procedure, which will result in them becoming parents of twins. Earlier, Mipha was given an anesthetic injection that turned out to be a little too strong, leaving her unable to walk for a while, but Dr. Mei assured her that she would be taken there in a wheelchair for the procedure. In addition to this, Link some time earlier received a series of injections to induce labor in him. One of the doctor's orders is to be undressed from the waist down, which explains why he is only wearing a pajama top. Mipha's procedure was 100% successful, so they can both already be called mom and dad. In Link's case it was different, as after several hours of regular injections, no labor contractions followed, which worried Dr. Mei, causing her to perform a series of tests on him. Only then did it come out that it was still far too early for Link to go into labor, and that he was resistant to any birth measures. Then the doctor took into account Zora's fetal development process and calculated that the baby would be ready for delivery in max another nine months. And so Link will still be pregnant for a while. He might even end up in that room again, this time with Sidon in labor.
