During the time I came to weigh very heavily my game choice decisions on the reviews and commentary provided by you. Before I ever saw your face I continually saw you name linked with the highest quality reviews and writing IGN had to offer, i became a huge fan and follower of your work as time passed and became a regular consumer of your content. I became a viewer when you made the move to video podcasts and shared in the greatest shock when you and Greg decided to move on from IGN i remember exactly what street i was driving on in downtown Providence Rhode Island when i was listening to that podcast which announced it. I was amazed, enthused and inspired by your next move to help found Kinda Funny Games and through that journey i watched from afar in admiration. But without finically supporting kinda funny due to just having gotten my career off the ground. Now with this recent turn of events and seeing only what is able to be seen through my various screens here in Rhode Island, an entire country away, I find myself once again amazed, inspired and enthused for you. But i also felt great emotion in the way things were perceived to have gone down for you. Its a great area with many positives that would suit your new platform, as well as accommodating Your long time Girl Friends career. Less than an hour from D.C. and only 2 to Richmond. I’ve always appreciated Colin’s take on games and his unwavering principled stance. After watching what Colin went through these past few weeks I feel compelled to support him in the name of justice. I am very much looking forward to his series. I would make one suggestion to him…. The first episodes should be primers on some basic concepts and definitions around the different forms of government and founding documents (e.g. Magna Carta, Constitution, The Federalist Papers, etc.) I have 5 kids in school (elementary to high school) and I can tell you that civics is struggling. Schools (even universities) provide more lessons on civic duty rather than providing the nuts and bolts of how our government works. To have a productive dialogue people need to have a basic understanding of these concepts. I’m very happy for Colin. He very much reminds me of my 16 year old son who I have finally come to understand in the several years. Underneath his course manner, there is a sweet kid looking for justice and to be heard. That is worth supporting. Make your family proud!

I can honestly say that Colin made up more than the majority of the reason that I supported the last venture that he was a part of. I am more than happy to throw him my support on this platform and to show him that even though I have never met him and cannot call him a friend (in real life) that I have his 6.
