Thanks!

Colin Moriarty

Thank you!

Colin Moriarty

No, thank YOU!

Colin Moriarty

Thanks!

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! I suppose the anime example makes sense, though I'd say that without the west, anime wouldn't be the powerhouse it is! It would be a Japanese oddity, and not something that's fairly mainstream worldwide.

Colin Moriarty

Great episode and has given me a great topic to discuss with my cultural geography professor! Cannot wait to see the new set up!

Oliver Troxell

Great stuff again Colin, you are really hitting your stride. Can't wait to see how the new place looks, keep up the great work!

Bryan Finck

Another great episode! Thank you

Michael

Colin this episode was fantastic!!! One of my favorites so far! Good luck on the rest of the move!

Christopher Lee

Really enjoyed this episode greatly. Colin, do you think the USA adapting things such as anime is also an example of this?

Codename Trigger Thumb

Thank you for being here!

Colin Moriarty

Is there a unkind way to thank someone?

Thanks for the great show. Keep up the great work. Greetings from Colombia.

Gabriel Ignacio Bustamante S.

Thank you kindly!

Colin Moriarty

There were a couple of audio problems due to me hitting the table or something. I dunno. Doing my best to clean up any issues in post; that said, the audio quality should be (and I think is) far better than last week's! (And thank you for the kind words.)

Colin Moriarty

Thank you so much.

Colin Moriarty

Hey, thanks!

Colin Moriarty

Thank you, that's very kind!

Thank you. =)

Hope you like it!

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! I'll solicit Q&A questions next week and likely record and post next weekend. Stay tuned!

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! <3

Colin Moriarty

Thanks!

Colin Moriarty

Not a bad idea. Lots of ideas stacking up, but I'll certainly take note.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you!

Colin Moriarty

I agree that CLS is a show you have to watch to appreciate, but if folks wanna listen, that's perfectly acceptable to me. Glad you liked the inclusion of Creed. LOL.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! Glad to hear it.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you very much!

Colin Moriarty

I'm really glad to hear that. And thanks!

Colin Moriarty

Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.

Colin Moriarty

Job well done good sir, keep it up! Good luck with the move and safe travels!

I think there were a couple of audio clips in the beginning, but it may have been what i was listening on, so idk. No big deal, though. Regardless, I wanted to add that I think this video benefited from being funnier than others, although i don't know. The images and humorous quips make it even more engaging and enjoyable, so keep doing that. <3

Caleb Greer

Superb video - covered all sides and hit on the important points. Keep up the great work.

Steven Camilo

Another fantastic video Colin, can see you growing with every video

BurpleMan

Killing it every episode, keep up the great work and I'll keep funding.

Jeremy

This was a great episode Colin! I especially appreciate the humor in it! The blah blah blah tangents had me rolling! You're doing great as always! Keep it up!

Fantastic Mr Scott

Ooooh my gosh I've been thinking a lot about this lately. Stoked to dig in to the episode this evening.

Kyle Hinze

Wow. Best episode so far. I love the message you put out. I'm so excited to see your new space and I can't wait to for a new Q&A either

Joey Andrzejczyk

Man this is the modern left though right? This coming from a liberal person even. We are constantly hearing outrage on behalf of a minority group and it's often being pushed by leftists (I hate these terms but they have their place) that don't belong to that group.

CTE

Would be nice if there was a forums aspect to this too.

CTE

Can someone point me in the direction (if it exists) for topic suggestions or discussions?

Cooper Bibaud

Wonderful episode! Fascinating integration of ancient history and modern politics.

Great episode!

Samuel

Thanks again Colin great episode take care. Perhaps do a video on impeachment?

Motherfuck. What an awesome video, Col! The outrage culture is simply getting out of hand. It has to stop. Let's be outraged about things that matter, lol.

Khalil Sadi

The Creed pic had me rollin, lol! I listened to about half of the episode, and then started watching it. CLS is a series you HAVE to watch to get the full effect. I ended up starting it all over again. Great work, and enjoy your weekend!

R Bamb

My favorite video yet. Keep up the great work.

Rick Rodriguez

Leave it to Colin to explain why a potato is proof that girls at Coachella aren't bigots.

Ryan Berry

Great, informed content. I appreciate the witt and humor that you infuse into your message. It keeps me engaged and helps you achieve your goal of showing that history and politics can be exciting, and interesting. I look forward to your home studio!

Prince Borutski

I found this extremely interesting as well.

Good video. The Redskins tidbit was especially interesting - that idea of being outraged for someone else has always miffed me. We also recently saw this with the Japanese reaction to Scarlett Johansson being cast as the lead in Ghost in the Shell. The reaction seemed to be a collective "meh."

Phil Crone

Nice. Can't wait to watch this evening. These videos have definitely made Monday and Thursday more enjoyable. Good luck with the move this weekend!

This has been my favorite episode of CLS so far. Really everything that Colin said in this episode should be common sense, but people are so busy being offended on behalf of other people they don't see how the world really works. The only time I think cultural appropriation could really be considered a negative thing is if it's being used specifically to mock another culture.
