On Patreon, Lauren Southern, Merch, and 9/11 (?!)
Added 2017-07-28 22:41:34 +0000 UTCHey All!
First off, I hope you’re all doing great. I’m back from my vacation, and I’m frankly raring to get back into creating more Colin’s Last Stand content. It was really awesome to see my brother and dad, not to mention Ramon open for the band we grew up in love with. But I also feel kinda anxious and pent-up. I have a lot to say! New videos begin rolling out July 31st.
(Here's me hanging out with my brother and dad): https://www.instagram.com/p/BXBTtRolwBB/
(Here's me watching 311 with Ramon from backstage): https://www.instagram.com/p/BW2pClSF2z_/
Between now and Monday, when a new video will go live, there are a few things I wanted to address with the community. Nothing too crazy; just wanted to speak on a few topics that I thought were of interest and/or use to all of you out there.
1.) The Lauren Southern/Patreon thing happened right when I left, so I know I’m a little late on this, but I did want to speak to it. I think it’s especially important that we talk about it because I’m a moderate conservative, and I know that a lot of people feel like what happened was politically motivated, and could inherently target people like me in the future. As always, we shouldn’t shy away from talking about the tough issues. Otherwise, what’s the point of any of this?
For starters, Patreon’s CEO Jack Conte released a video on what happened, fully explaining the process that led to the removal of Lauren’s Patreon. It’s worth watching before you go any further. Don’t worry. I’ll wait:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmcK6GvgVPs&ab_channel=JackConteExtras
Before I even say anything, I’m gonna put all of my cards on the table in the name of complete transparency. I’ve been with Patreon long before it was anywhere even near being a widely used, ubiquitous funding platform. (I guess that kinda makes me a Patreon hipster.) My previous company was one of Patreon’s first Mega Success Stories (if not the first one, full stop), and I’ve always been thankful for what they allowed me to do with my life.
When I walked away from IGN -- with generous offers on the table for me to stay, mind you -- Patreon provided me with security, allowing me to co-found a successful enterprise that simply wouldn’t have existed without their assistance. And when I volunteered to walk away from Kinda Funny to do something new one more time? Patreon allowed me to somehow find even more success with CLS. It’s pretty wild, really.
When I tell you that Patreon changed my life, I mean it, and there are obviously built-in biases that come along with a relationship like that. They've always been very good to me. So you should know that. I'm a loyal person. But I’ve also always shot straight with you, right? You can always rely on me to tell you the truth, not to go along with what’s popular, or what will score me easy points, or keep me comfortable. I’m pretty sure all of you know that, too. My words and actions have clearly proven that, time and time again. So here’s my somewhat abridged assessment of the situation:
I don’t know Lauren Southern personally, and I don’t agree with plenty of the things she says and does, but I follow her on Twitter, I watch some of her videos, and I’m pretty sure we’ve exchanged pleasantries once or twice. When I saw that her Patreon was deleted, I was concerned just like everyone else. But, as time has passed, and as all of the pertinent information surrounding the situation has come out, I feel comfortable with Patreon’s rationale for deleting her account. It’s all spelled-out, in black and white, in Jack Conte’s video, and the company’s actions seem to be in accordance with Patreon’s Terms of Service.
Reinforcing all of that is the fact that Patreon reached out to me to talk about the entire issue, unprompted. I am in very regular contact with Patreon -- I exchange e-mails with a really great liaison over there named Heather sometimes multiple times a week about a bunch of different issues -- so I was going to inquire about Lauren’s situation when I got back from vacation and settled-in. But they reached out to me first, as a prominent conservative voice on the platform. That in and of itself was appreciated, and put me at ease.
I spoke with Jack for 15 minutes or so on the phone after exchanging some e-mails earlier in the day with Heather, and I felt satisfied with his explanation, and that Patreon’s move wasn’t politically motivated, but in the name of safety, security, and in full accordance with the ToS. I expressed concern as someone who espouses some conservative views that people like me may be targeted in the future. He ensured me that Patreons like Colin’s Last Stand -- and frankly even ones far, far further to the right -- have literally nothing to worry about. Conversation, education, protest. All of that is fine on Patreon. It seems that Lauren’s actions with Defend Europe are really at the crux of the entire thing, not what she was even saying or otherwise doing. (The same goes for an Antifa-affiliated Patreon which was removed today, as well.)
Jack and I were in complete agreement that Patreon made an error in not communicating immediately to Lauren and the community, and he also agreed that Patreon needs to do a lot better in the future on a lot of related fronts. He reiterated all of that in his video, and I fully believe that Patreon will take all of this under advisement in the future. If a new, terrible situation unfolds, we’ll take it as it comes, but knowing the team at Patreon like I do, and having been with them since very early on, I know what they’re made of. These are very good people, people that knew full-well of my political bent when they invited me into their San Francisco office with my old company time and time again to use their space, eat their food, and enjoy their company. They didn’t treat me like an outsider then, and they aren’t treating me like one now.
So, Colin’s Last Stand continues on Patreon completely uninterrupted, with the exception of one major issue: Many of you have left Patreon in protest. I’m not going to ask you to change your minds if Jack’s word isn’t good enough, and if my vouching for the service isn’t good enough, either. I’d absolutely love for you to come back. I hope you do. But I get that some of you won’t. That’s totally fine, and I completely accept that. I see in the Patreon Exit Surveys that a lot of you feel really passionately about this particular issue, and I get that even all of this might not fully resolve the problem for you (although I hope it will, and suspect that it will for a great many of you who I hope to welcome back into the fold either right now, or in time).
As a result -- and due to your requests -- I’ve set up a PayPal link for you to use to send one-time (or as many times as you want) donations to Colin’s Last Stand. This isn’t an ideal solution for me or you, frankly, as nothing given on PayPal is going to result in you getting access to any of the perks my Patreon provides. But I know a lot of you want to support me, don’t want to use Patreon, and don’t care about the perks, so this Bud’s for you. You can go to the following link and give whatever you’d like. I will attempt to make a recurring payment feature in the near future, for those that want to auto-subscribe via PayPal, so stay-tuned in the near future for that:
https://www.paypal.me/colinslaststand
Colin’s Last Stand remains fully fan-supported, with no ads running on YouTube, no baked-in advertisements or activations, and no sponsorships (even though there are people in the world very eager to talk to me about all of those things that I refuse to foist upon you). Your support is essential. So whether you (very preferably) use Patreon, or opt to use PayPal, please consider supporting CLS if you don’t already.
And to those that already do? Thank you.
2.) Many of you have been asking about merchandise, and I’m proud to tell you that I’m in the final stages with a good friend of mine in getting merch ready for public consumption. I’m not going to say anything specific yet, but I think you’re going to be very, very pleased with who I’ve partnered with, not only from a design perspective, but from a quality perspective. I wouldn’t sell merch I don’t believe in. I’ll just leave it there for now.
Shirts, stickers, and even a poster should be made available in as soon as a few weeks, if all goes according to plan. As soon as we’re ready to go on our end, y'all will be the first to know.
3.) When I was home, my father and I talked at some length about a 9/11 episode of CLS (for those that don’t know, my dad was a Lieutenant in the FDNY, and was there). He even smartly suggested that we try to time it around 9/11 itself (sadly, I didn't even think of that). That would make a whole lot of sense, of course, but between his schedule and mine -- not to mention that I need to get some friends to help me with this one when it comes to space and the like, as it won’t be a traditional CLS shoot -- we may not make it on that timeline.
That said, the ball is in play here. My dad’s enthusiastic about doing the episode, and so am I. So… fear not. I would assume this episode will happen by early fall, but I’ll keep y’all in the loop as things develop.
Alright. I think those are the three big things I wanted to bring to your attention. I’ll leave it there for now. There was a fourth item I was originally going to bring up, but the time isn’t right yet… though I’m sure it’ll leave many of you excited. =) Soon!
I thank you all for your time, your support, and your love. It really is greatly appreciated. As always, leave your feedback wherever you want (YouTube, Patreon, Twitter, Reddit, et cetera). I’m reading it!
Yours, -Colin

2017-07-30 11:44:00 +0000 UTCI'm very satisfied with the explanation Jack gave, I heard about Lauren losing her Patreon and naturally assumed the worst in the site. But I didn't know about the whole migrant boat incident and how it violated the TOS of Patreon, I very much appreciate the transparency of this site, so thumbs up! :]
ConeZone
2017-07-30 06:40:54 +0000 UTCShe clearly violated Patreon’s ToS and should have her account removed. With that said I think telling human traffickers “deflate your boat in the middle of the Mediterranean with a cargo of people who can’t swim and there’s a 95% chance we’ll rescue you and take you to Italy and a 5% chance everyone drowns”, is a bad thing. Logically speaking, promoting these rescue ships also actually violates Patreon’s ToS since it clearly “facilitates harmful or dangerous activities”. I personally don’t like Lauren Southern but I can still sit back objectively and sense some bias. Very excited for Dave Rubin’s interview.
2017-07-29 15:36:36 +0000 UTCWe already heard Lauren side of this in her video just saying

2017-07-29 12:41:20 +0000 UTCColin as long as I have the fund and you don't go entirely insane and well you'll have me I will have my name there publicly supporting you. Watching the video I can see about the video being a bit political I more so see that it was a 100% legit take down. I think he leaned into what the other boats were doing too much. Since the video was saying we are unbiased it takes a bit more care to kinda nail that down in this case the saying they were causing potential harm to other people or property instead of working with international authorities on the situation or protesting (which he did bring up just after going too deep into the rescue boats). I say none of this to say I disagree with anything he said but just to him saying it with the point he was making. I would go so far as they should get a lead of that safety team since that is to be the most neutral part of Patreon and have them be the one to be providing the messaging it might come out a bit more "just the facts" which this world could use a lot more of instead of the extras to add to drama. I do think she should thank Patreon for the way they initially handled it I am positive they got a huge surge of finances through something else. I also think the fact that video was made has to given doubters at least some faith they are going to meet their commitments being that forthcoming takes huge balls.
Jim Leggat
2017-07-29 11:01:58 +0000 UTCNot a patron of your but am a fan. I was wondering if your tried to reach out to Lauren and hear her side of this? Maybe make it your first interview? I think so many are to quick to see this a black or white and not see their is some issue with her patron being deleted.
2017-07-29 10:09:46 +0000 UTCCan we get a video about what Defend Europe is? Sorry, I work a lot and have no idea what's going on. I watched the YouTube video by the Patreon guy...He seemed sincear, but I don't know who that girl was or what she stood for. Honestly, CLS is often my window to the outside world.

2017-07-29 09:49:44 +0000 UTCKeep up the continued hard work, Colin. Seriously, you're killing it. I can't believe how well it's all going! Not to mention, I'm also incredibly excited to cop myself some merch. Will always support you, homie!

2017-07-29 07:28:19 +0000 UTCAs always thanks for being up front with the community. Also thank Jack for the video, it was thoughtful and respectful to have him explain the full depth of the situation. The hardest part of these situations is waiting for all the information to present itself and he acted swiftly to make sure everyone had that information. Looking forward to the video with your pops and his experience. Thanks for your service to us.
2017-07-29 06:11:19 +0000 UTCAs always, your candid responses are a breathe of fresh air in the current climate of agendas, politics, and craziness. I am glad you offered an alternative for support with PayPal because in doing so patreon and Conte hopefully understand that this will put them under greater scrutiny moving forward. Whether a coincidence or not (I'll take him at his word this time that this was sort of a coincidence) I am glad to see IGD taken down as well. I don't know what political party represents me currently, I only know what I find to be the greatest offense in modern day rhetoric and action.... hypocrisy. A few have said it better than I can, but the worry moving forward is that how he defines a breach of the ToS is very easy to manipulate down the road. Example: patreon creator supports a president, said president brings us to war, people die... patreon creator now supports these deaths because of supporting said president and is removed from patreon. What he said in the video is ok for now... for now. But I am glad that you, one of the largest patreon creators, has already set up an alternative way for us to support you and bypass patreon. This (hopefully) keeps their "power" in check. All of us have very little power, voting with my wallet is the one tiny way to show support or lack there of in a way that companies may actually take into consideration. Patreon won't be losing my support on this one for now. As long as they remain fair they will keep my support. And by fair I mean, not hypocritical. Hopefully they are reading these comments. Hopefully they won't allow any personal political views to blind them from issues of equivalence in the future. This is murky territory indeed to live in an age where "independent companies" have such great influence that they can silence voices they don't like. That doesn't seem to have happened here, but even by his own definitions, he has laid out a foundation for how it COULD happen in the future. It's possibility vs probability. It's possible that they could do that in the future, it doesn't seem like they did it here, but his logic shows that it may be a little more probable in the future than I had previously thought. Time will tell. For now cheers brother, you're doing great stuff and I'm looking forward to your next video!

2017-07-29 04:19:46 +0000 UTCIndeed! Couldn't have said it better myself.

2017-07-29 03:57:48 +0000 UTCThanks for your thoughts, Colin. I completely agree with Patreon's decision given the details I've seen, but I can see how folks who have not taken the time to understand might come to their own conclusions. It's unfortunate, but hopefully they will eventually come back around :-)
2017-07-29 03:11:48 +0000 UTCYou can always count on me to shoot straight. Sometimes I'll be wrong, but I'll always give you my honest opinion.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-29 02:56:38 +0000 UTCWow, that was a ballsy move by Patreon to put this out into the open. Obviously one should always view the guys on camera with a healthy skepticism, but Conte seems pretty forthright, and I hope the transparency doesn't come back to bite him and the company. Thanks for consistently dealing with this community honestly as well.
Josh Squires
2017-07-29 01:47:17 +0000 UTCIt's my pleasure to be here, for real. Thank you for your support.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-29 01:30:20 +0000 UTCColin, thank you for being honest about everything. You are easily one of the most active creators on here when it comes to interacting with your supporters. I have been following your work since Beyond and I love what you are doing with cls, especially the history videos. Keep it up!
Dustin Henry
2017-07-29 01:05:58 +0000 UTCWell, I feel like it's important context. I'm telling you how I feel, but I'd also be lying if I didn't tell you that I have a soft spot and a lot of loyalty to the company for what they did for me. So, with all of that information at your disposal, you can make an educated decision!
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-29 00:54:31 +0000 UTCThanks for being transparent about your relationship with Patreon, it's something few creators would share. I've always felt that you and Patreon were forthright and trustworthy and I am encouraged by your perspective on this situation. I'm looking forward to new episodes.
2017-07-29 00:52:11 +0000 UTCIt's absolutely your right to make the decision that's best for you. All I can do is relay to you my own opinion on the situation, along with what Jack and I personally spoke about.

2017-07-29 00:32:10 +0000 UTCThank you so much! I'm looking forward to executing on Monday's video... though it'll probably have to wait until tomorrow. I'm in the administrative shit today!

2017-07-29 00:21:34 +0000 UTCCollin, I believe you need to take another step back and look at this again. Because I had a completely different reaction to Jack’s video. And after watching Jacks video I am less convinced his actions were not politically motivated. I saw several flaws in his argument and I am surprised you are not much more critical of him. I have held back reaction to this waiting from some my thoughts from my favorite content creators. Dave Rubin and yourself in particular. But instead of finding real objective criticism I see everyone wanting to protect their interests. I will wait until Dave's interview with Jack on Monday to make a final decision but most likely I am leaving this platform.
2017-07-29 00:15:22 +0000 UTCWelcome back Colin! Glad to hear your father's doing well and that his story will be told. Really enjoyed the Dunkirk episode and would be interesting to see future historical videos that align with other medium releases that are of your interest. Looking forward to what comes next. Keep up the great work!
2017-07-29 00:07:11 +0000 UTCWelcome back! We missed you BUT I know you had a great time with Dagan and Dad on the Island and with Ramon in PHL! So glad you got to do this! You needed to unplug for a bit. 😉 Looking forward to the next episode and the merch! Bring it on!!! 👍🏻😘❤️

2017-07-29 00:05:54 +0000 UTCThank you so much for spreading the word of CLS. It really does mean the world to me. Seeing the steady growth of subs on YouTube (not to mention the steadying of support here) has been really heartening. It's a great honor to have so many believe in me and the message of CLS. Truly.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-29 00:05:40 +0000 UTCThank you so much for posting this with the link to his video. I never intended on cutting my support for the likes of you, Rubin, (or our boy Jared Petty!) from their actions, but having only seen Lauren's video, I believed Patreon might have been in the wrong. I definitely see how she may have violated terms of the contract. Patreon has the right to do as they please if there's probable cause. Keep up the great work! I've been waiting a LONG time for the 9/11 episode, so I'm glad to hear your dad is excited for it. I've been spreading around your Dunkirk videos to friends. They're on the bandwagon now.
Fred Bence
2017-07-29 00:00:09 +0000 UTCThank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the Dunkirk video. I agree; it was a really great flick. Nolan rules.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:34:23 +0000 UTCIt's an interesting thought, and I doubt we've seen or heard the last of drama related to this kind of thing here on the platform. What I think is most important right now, though, is to allow the sides a chance to explain themselves, and take the sides at their word. Since both Southern and Patreon have given their accounts, it's ultimately up to Patreon if they want her on their service or not. It's then up to us to react in kind, to whether we want to tolerate their decision or not. Like I said in the post, I'm satisfied with Jack's explanation.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:34:05 +0000 UTCThanks for the update! I am really looking forward to the interview with your father. Hope you had a great vacation, and I am looking forward to more videos. Sidenote, I just saw Dunkirk and your video was a great primer for the film. Thanks!!
2017-07-28 23:31:53 +0000 UTCThe only thing that concerns me is how broad the potential range of ‘actions that could lead to harm’ actually are. Voting in an election is an ‘action that could lead to harm’, so what separates that action from Lauren Southerns? She wasn’t physically steering the ship so where does her accountability begin and end? I’m worried that people like Jack, consciously or not, will set the bar of accountability to what they find politically convenient.
2017-07-28 23:30:32 +0000 UTCHey Jack! The way I look at it is a little simpler, because I concur that, according to Defend Europe's mission statement, it doesn't seem they're out to hurt anyone. I think the greater point here is that they still could. If we get really deep into it, it could easily become nebulous. Like I said, maybe Jack's statement won't be good enough for some (as the like-to-dislike ratio on his video shows), but it's good enough for me. I don't envy the position he's in, nor do I envy Lauren's position.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:29:17 +0000 UTCYou got it!
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:26:34 +0000 UTCIt's unfortunately on hiatus right now. I was approached by another publisher to write something else, but we ultimately didn't proceed. I am investigating a separate idea for a book that might make people happy, but really, it's all a pipe dream right now until further notice. CLS is more than a full time job.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:26:25 +0000 UTCHey Colin. First off, I respect the conclusion that you've arrived at regarding Lauren's Patreon ban and I think it's a very valid one. It's not a strictly black and white case and I don't envy the Patreon admin for their responsibility of addressing it. However, I respectfully disagree with the notion that Defend Europe was engaging in activity to could significantly increase likelihood of loss of life, or otherwise contribute to it. The chief piece of evidence that Mr. Conte cited in his video explanation was that snippet of video showing Ms. Southern telling a Defend Europe boat crew to cut off the path of a rescue ship full of illegal immigrants. I fail to see how blocking a boat could lead to loss of life, unless there is an insinuation that doing so could lead to capsizing. Which, if that were to happen, would also conceivably happen to the Defend Europe rescue boat effectively making everyone that was part of the Defend Europe boat a "suicide boater". When referencing the Defend Europe mission statement page however, it is only their goal to prevent the rescued from entering the continent illegaly, not from being rescued. It seems, that based off of both public statements from Defend Europe and their mission statement page on their website, that their overall goal is to provide rescue to people in distress, and redirect boats with rescued illegal immigrants back to their country of origin. My main takeaway from the message was that inhibiting boats with payloads of illegal contents and people is somehow tantamount to direct threats of violence. Which I just dont see. But im looking forward to Mr. Conte's appearance on the Rubin Report this weekend for further clarification.

2017-07-28 23:23:33 +0000 UTCGood enough me. Thank you!
2017-07-28 23:23:02 +0000 UTCThanks Colin for the input and good to know. Hey just wondering, you were working on a book before when you were at Kinda Funny, just wondering are you still working on that?

2017-07-28 23:16:53 +0000 UTCMy initial knee jerk reaction to the Lauren Southern thing was to be some what pissed off. That said after the explanation i understand. I do however hope this this goes across the board, the fact that an antifa patreon was taken down also is a good sign of that. Glad you had a great time on vacation and can't wait to sport a CLS T shirt.

2017-07-28 23:14:54 +0000 UTCWe have nothing to announce yet, but something is in play. It's just going to take a little more time to dot the I's and cross the T's then we thought.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:03:10 +0000 UTCI'm sure she'll see it. I'm equally sure she was shocked and dismayed by the deletion of her Patreon, and I honestly feel really badly for her there. But that's not what I'm even posting about. I simply wanted to speak on how I felt about Patreon's response.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:02:40 +0000 UTCAll good news to hear and I'm glad your back. Hope the vacation was enjoyable and more importantly a real break from work so you can recharge and not burnout. Any update on a collaboration with Rubin? I recently re-listened to your appearances on his show and it's painfully obvious how much you enjoy each other's company and respect one another. I like passionate people working on things they care about so whether it's a talk about politics, a video game session or something else entirely I'm sure it would be a fun way to mix things up. I know you guys are both busy so if it can happen, awesome, but otherwise just keep up the good work!
2017-07-28 23:02:25 +0000 UTCWell I think you're going to be in luck, then.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:02:00 +0000 UTCI think Jack's video was very good at clarifying the situation and it ended up outlining some new improvements that the anti-youtube crowd will be pleased to hear about. I'm a fan of Lauren's videos, but sometimes she gets a bit too headstrong with believing she isn't in the wrong. Hopefully she sees the video.

2017-07-28 23:01:57 +0000 UTCThank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:01:52 +0000 UTCThat's fair enough! Totally your prerogative. I'm glad that you have the choice. I simply wanted to give my perspective, and will accept if people disagree (even vehemently so).
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:01:39 +0000 UTCThank you! I agree that their approach to Southern's removal seems buttoned-up. That's good enough for me. I'm not saying that I wish her ill or that she shouldn't be able to make a living -- quite the opposite -- but I think a lot of people are ignoring the fact that those brazen actions have also hurt a lot of creators here, too.
Colin Moriarty
2017-07-28 23:01:04 +0000 UTCI really have a hard time seeing you defending Patreon on this one. I watched the video provided which is why I will be canceling my pledge. I will support you on papal, and just comment in the YouTube comment section. Looking forward to the new episode.

2017-07-28 23:00:07 +0000 UTCThank you. Although I'm right back into the shit as we speak, so vacation seems but a distant memory. Hahaha. <3

2017-07-28 22:59:56 +0000 UTCWhy are you so solid of a human, man!!! But seriously, thanks for the update, being a straight shooter and just an all around good guy. Also, that Andrew Jackson Episode was hands down my favorite CLS so far. You're killing it!!!!

2017-07-28 22:59:47 +0000 UTCI'm looking forward to making it! =)

2017-07-28 22:59:34 +0000 UTCI know it's a long shot... but my Vita would look mighty fine with a CLS sticker across the back.
2017-07-28 22:59:17 +0000 UTCCan't wait to get some merch! But I did also watch the response from Patreon and they seemed justified with the all the evidence that has popped up over the last week or so. Great job and can't wait to see your next topics!
2017-07-28 22:58:56 +0000 UTCWatched Jack's Video and find no issues with there decision. Regardless of how people feel about it politically, those people are humans and her actions absolutely were worthy of removal from Patreon. Thanks for your update and looking forward to the next video.
2017-07-28 22:57:56 +0000 UTCI agree. He did a great job of laying out the evidence and acknowledging that there were mistakes made that need to be rectified. Both extremes can be true in their own way, which I think is lost on some people. CLS isn't the first company I owned. I owned another, and was pretty high ranking at another, yet. Mistakes happen in the corporate world. It's how you respond that ultimately makes or breaks certain situations.

2017-07-28 22:57:21 +0000 UTCLooks like your much deserved vacation was a success. Thanks for keeping us all in the loop with the behind the scenes stuff. I've learned to expect nothing less from you. Keep up the great work Colin.

2017-07-28 22:57:07 +0000 UTCAlways appreciate the transparency! Everything seems solid on Patreon's side. Excited to hear about merch and an eventual 9/11 episode! Also very glad to hear that your vacation recharged you. Was very concerned you were over working yourself and it would be detrimental to your health. Keep up the great stuff!

2017-07-28 22:54:22 +0000 UTCLooking forward to the new content!
2017-07-28 22:52:54 +0000 UTCThanks Colin! I gotta say Jack's video was really well done. Looking forward to seeing him on Rubin as well.
2017-07-28 22:50:44 +0000 UTCI will do my best! Thank you for being here.

2017-07-28 22:49:17 +0000 UTCIt will get told, fear not. He's a busy man, but he's eager to tell the story. He's building his dream house in the Hamptons right now (I went to see it in-progress... it's awesome, and I'm so happy for him, as he's worked hard his whole life), and he's kind of married to managing that right now. But he will make time, and y'all will benefit from his stories and sage wisdom!

2017-07-28 22:49:01 +0000 UTCColin, honestly, thanks for not forgetting about the 0ne-on-one with your dad. When you left, I was worried your dad's story wouldn't get told
