Fireside Chats, Episode 32: Social Media Takeover

Matt Canoy went to Full Sail, where he thought he would make video games for a living. But that's not what he wanted to do. Instead, he wanted to engineer, and is currently working on two apps so secretive that we can't even talk about them. What we can talk about, though, is what one of those apps will cater to: The Social Media Market. And that got me thinking: Just what does the future of social media hold for all of us, anyway? Matt's an expert, and he's got some answers.

Yeah, I'm gonna try to get that done in the next week or so.

Colin Moriarty

Can you please post the next set of fireside chats on YouTube like you were doing? That was very helpful for me.

Forbes

So glad to hear that. Thank you for listening!

Colin Moriarty

This was a killer conversation! Really enjoyed it!

Andrew

I struggle with that to this day. I haven't had a day off all year. For real. LOL.

Colin Moriarty

You did great, homie.

Colin Moriarty

Theres a continuing theme here with people who work very hard recognizing that they also need to take time for themselves. Work life balance, so so important.

Owen

Thanks again for having me over Colin ^_^. I’m sorry everyone for speaking softly at times. 😄

AscendDaily

Doesn't matter to me; you do whatever is most convenient for you. <3

Awesome chat - sidebar question to the end of the conversation - I never download the podcasts, as I just stream them from my computer while I work. For your court, is it better to download?

Kenny Gutzler

That's awesome to hear. I'm wishing you the best!

Colin Moriarty

Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the episode. I can't believe I didn't know why the Snapchat logo was a ghost! LOL.

Colin Moriarty

Awesome episode, I am going to school for computer science and hearing mat’s story is inspiring to me.

Miko Bell

Damn this episode was great! The way he pegged exactly why Snapchat’s logo is what it is and what it means made me think about every logo I’ve ever seen. This episode was top notch, Colin, and I’d love to hear this guest again.

Ian (616Entertainment)

It's funny, the things that used to keep me engaged. LOL.
