Thank you! <3

Colin Moriarty

Excellent take on the tired predictions video - really impressed the effort put in. Signed up!

Justin Little

Microsoft needs to come with the heat, there's no doubt about it.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you, and thank you for your support! I appreciate your kind words.

Colin Moriarty

Thanks. =D

Colin Moriarty

Cool take on the E3 predictions. I think this is the most interesting Microsoft will have ever been, if they manage to knock this out of the park. Sony is looking boring AF as far as press conferences go, but I hope I'm wrong. Seeing as how they're announcing 5 games ahead of time... My expectations are low.

Tyler

Awesome video Colin! Great idea to have a theme for each company. Thank you for all the hard work, amazing content!

Agreed. I think they can reverse course. I remember that Ubi was hated at one point, if at a much lesser degree than EA. I have hopes that they can and will, but EA will always follow the money.

Tyler

Another great E3 recording Colin! I get that everyone’s been doing predictions, but I always felt you were more grounded and original than most. btw: I agree with Marc Boggio. That end theme was like a fine desert after being forced to eat stale McDonalds.

Don Wagner

Yeah, for sure. I've a feeling that, even if it's successful, it'll be a slow burn as people wait and see what comes out of it. Will be interesting.

hugplx

Talk may be cheap, but I barely feel like they talk at all in matters such as this, and it's hurting their brand.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! I'm looking forward to it, too.

Colin Moriarty

That would be super cool.

Colin Moriarty

I think so. We'll have to see how it pans out.

Colin Moriarty

I am intrigued by when it will come out, what kind of marketing push it will get, how it will do critically, and perhaps most important, how it does commercially.

Colin Moriarty

Well, they're something, alright.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you so much! I appreciate it.

Colin Moriarty

Hard to say...

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! I was more mystified that anyone thought BGS would have a new, full, single-player game ready to show two and a half years after they launched Fallout 4. That was a little weird to me. My honest take is that BGS isn't actually working a great deal on it, and is sheparding it on behalf of that other studio in Texas that Bethesda recently acquired. Like with Rage 2 and id, id's name makes it look good.

Colin Moriarty

I hear you. As an adult with little free time and only enough attention/interest to pay to one ecosystem, Microsoft is never going to "win me over." I, like you, watch them out of sheer interest, and root them well, not only for their fans, but for the overall health of the industry, which benefits from a powerful Xbox doing cool shit.

Colin Moriarty

I couldn't believe how saturated the entire E3 Predictions market has become. I really do think that when we started doing them at IGN on Beyond nearly a decade ago, it wasn't "a thing" yet. But maybe I'm wrong. I feel like we accidentally pioneered the entire thing.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you!

Colin Moriarty

It's all about the games...

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! It seems to be resonating and bringing in a bit of a new audience, which is nice.

Colin Moriarty

I saw that! Weird coincidence. Alas!

Colin Moriarty

Hope you enjoyed!

Colin Moriarty

I think that when it comes to EA talk is cheap. I don’t care if they come out and say they’ve heard our feedback and won’t make such mistakes again. They need to show it in their releases, not just talk about it months in advance.

Kevin Sullivan

Excellent video, Colin! I cannot wait to see what Naughty Dog has up there sleeve for TLOU Part II. That’s what I’m most excited about haha.

Will Hahn

Personally, I'm hoping for one those "Holy shit!" moments at this e3 - last year felt pretty by-the-numbers. Holding out hope that Blue Point announces its next project is a Demon's Souls ground-up remake!

Justin Matkowski

I think you are right with Smash and Pokemon. The Let's Go Pokemon games may not be what hardcore fans want, but it will sell like crazy simply because it is a Pokemon game on Switch.

strawhatninja

Hey dude, Dreams probably won't be on the stage, but it was at Judge's week and will likely be on the show floor. Everyone who's into that creation tool kind of game that's had previews on it after their time with it is has been extremely positive. While I don't think it's the kind of software you show in your keynote, I'm absolutely excited for it. Specifically, I want to get my hands on those creation tools and make 2D/3D environments.

hugplx

I really enjoyed this video prediction. Great edits and love the structure with the word association for each publisher/developer. Can’t wait to see what you have coming for E3. Exciting, hope it goes well for you!

Was Rogue Warrior not worth it for that remix alone? 🤔

Marc Boggio

Nice video, Colin! I had no clue how many IP’s were under the Bethesda umbrella. I’m really eager to see where they go with Fallout 76. The internet hive mind lashing out over rumors that they are going a different direction really eludes me. We just got Fallout 4, and who are we to demand Bethesda Game Studios stick to what we consider to be a “proper” Fallout game? People seem to forget how drastic the shift to Fallout 3 was... I’m down for a fresh direction for the series. Anyways, would love to hear your take on Fallout 76, Colin.

I haven’t owned an Xbox console since 2011, but I’m most interested in their press conference this year, not because I plan to consider picking up an Xbox, but because they are in such a precarious position. Sony is able to rest on four games we already know about this year, and Microsoft doesn’t have that luxury. I can’t wait to see how they play their cards here. Also, I really dig this new way of predicting E3!

Brent Lindquist

I stopped predicting, and started doing hopes and dreams for E3 - Like even though Nintendo needs to keep it's foot on the gas with great new games. I want theNintendo Direct to include this like 30 second shot of screen grabs from every Mario and Zelda game ever, and just end with something like #PutItOnSwitch

Owen

Loved this new version of the good ‘ol e3 predictions!

Marius Skarsem Pedersen

Xbox needs to show us games... my one x is my new Wii U.

Joey Finelli

Just finished watching on YouTube, man, I loved this one. I was looking forward to your E3 predictions, but god dammit I can't argue with how driven into the ground they are. You took a different approach here and I think its going to pan out in an excellent way, I can see this one being one of your highest viewed SQ episodes. I'm still dying for a Superman announcement at E3, and I really look forward to whatever the hell 'Shadows Die Twice' is, whether its Bloodborne 2 or something else. Great work, Colin. The editing was excellent, the script was superb, and I love the way you're sneaking little clips into the intro in place of where you used to appear on camera, excellent work.

Ian (616Entertainment)

Well done Colin! I can't say I disagree with any of your takes in this video. One thing of note though is that Avalanche Studios actually got acquired just this past week by Nordisk Film: https://variety.com/2018/gaming/news/avalanche-studios-sold-1202826502/

Jon Cordeiro

So excited for this one!
