I hope you and yours are well.
I just wanted to take a moment to tip my cap, and to wish you, your families, your friends, and other loved ones a Merry Christmas (or a belated Hanukkah, or whatever you celebrate, if anything at all).
Oh, and a very Happy New Year, too.
Colin's Last Stand is only a few months away from entering its third year, which is truly crazy to think about, and it's ultimately because of the thousands of you here on Patreon that CLS is thriving. Indeed, my community is everything, because we -- you and I -- built this together. We didn't receive much help from the outside. We received virtually no goodwill, well wishes, promotion, offers of collaboration, or virtually any other kind of assistance from anyone or any organization outside of our own CLS family. And, yet, look what we've accomplished together. It's something to be proud of. I certainly am. Our little renegade outfit is a sight to behold, something that exists in spite of external forces, not because of them. Thank you for that, because without you -- yes, you -- who knows if Colin's Last Stand would be here at all?
On December 28th, I'm going to post the first podcast in what I hope will become an annual tradition: The 2018 "Stockholders" Meeting, which will be available to all Patrons. As you may know, I've already started soliciting questions for the event. This will give you a glimpse into the business of CLS, what the past was like, and what the future still holds. Exciting and promising times, I think, all thanks to each and every one of you who went out of your way to sustain this company, and all of the content it delivers. I can't wait to talk to you guys about what I think my company is all about, and how I want to grow it in 2019 with the lessons of 2017 and 2018 largely behind us. It'll be fun, and I hope you'll tune in.
Speaking of content, Sacred Symbols, KnockBack, and Fireside Chats will roll on uninterrupted as I take a little break for the rest of the year. I'll return in January with a Game of the Year video on Side Quest, Chris and I will do our Game of the Year Awards on Sacred Symbols, Dagan and I will continue to build the Moriarty Lore Book on KnockBack, and the eclectic goings-ons on Fireside Chats will also proceed unabated.
I'm looking forward to making 2019 an even better year for CLS than 2018. But before the calendar turns over, I wanted to acknowledge 2018 for what it was, and each and every one of you for the love and kindness you've shown me, and continue to show me. You are the true heroes of this endeavor.

I was released from prison back in April, and one of the first things I did was go to Kinda Funny to see what you and the guys were doing. Needless to say, I was shocked at what had transpired over the nearly previous 3 years. It took all of 3 seconds for me to realize what had happened to you, and as soon as I was able I became a patron here because your work was always the stuff that brought me back. I had a lot of catching up to do, but it was all worth it. Been following you since your early days at IGN because I actually read the names of the authors of articles and make sure to support those who are open-minded and insightful. Plus, after hearing all the Knockback episodes, it makes sense because we had fairly similar upbringings and family relationships. Please understand that you, Chris, Dagan, and all the Fireside guests have gotten me through a pretty intense transition year as I make something of myself again. Video games have always been there for me, and I literally have the sacred symbols tattooed on my body. And beyond that, I can truly understand your struggle of getting passed prejudices, lost friends, and hardships in the face of something awful. Keep up the awesome work, I will always be here to support you. And Merry F*&^ing CHRISTMAS!!!!
