Companies like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu lost money to take over spaces to become the main thing. What I mean is, Microsoft is known to count money made by Microsoft proper to "pay off" Xbox stuff. Like saying they " paid off and turn profit" after buying Bethesda. Microsoft has the backing to eat a loss on game pass and have it paid for and make profit from other Microsoft products. Other companies can not / may not be able to compete with that.

2021-11-19 18:21:19 +0000 UTCI agree with some points on the game awards conversation but previous games like Overwatch and Sekiro proved that gameplay lead games that aren't cinematic and story heavy can not only be nominated but also win. And I was completely against Overwatch winning that year.
