2022-01-31 22:32:21 +0000 UTCMatty, regarding WB games, it’s my understanding that it is a part of the WB-discovery merger that is currently awaiting regulatory approval. Nothing will happen until that closes. Secondly an acquisition of WB games wouldn’t include the IP. That is owned by Warner bros overall. A buyer could potentially make a deal that includes licensing the IP but they wouldn’t own it.

I never thought of Gears as a candidate for a film adaptation, but I’m kinda keen on it now that the idea has been placed in my head
