Second time I'm noticing that you're writing some non-constructive comment under DD content. I think you could make an effort to recommend some change, what would make this content better for you instead. What I read is just free insult and as I can tell from the LSM community, we can be better than that no?

I don't think a write in has to be related to the news of the week. They read a bunch of random write ins before and after. This is when the food topics are discussed lol.

I understand that my question is not the greatest, but I figured it would be a nice topic to discuss with plenty of current gen only games on the horizon. And, Matty literally had the thought himself on an episode about a year ago. That's where I originally got it from.

The whole "Gamepass can't produce the quality PS gamers want" is straight fucken delusional. Microsoft broke Metacritics all time record for publishing the highest reviewed games last year. Not only did they become the first publisher to ever break an average of 85 out of 100 but they actually cleared it at 87.5. They had 4 games get game of the year from major publications. Halo Infinite, Psychonaughts 2, Forza 5, Age of Empires, Flight Simulator and Deathloop (which will be launching day and date in the next few months) are all considered the highest quality in each of their genres. Xbox is producing the highest reviewed games on the market and people are still repeating this bull shit. Sony isn't paying your light bill. We don't need you to cap for corporations. The facts are the facts. Gamepass gamers are playing more games, in a wider range of genres. 3rd person cinematic games are not the only genre of games and if that's all you play then what does that say about the offerings sony has given you? I played Age of Empires on my PC gamespass yesterday, Right now I'm finishing up Psychonaughts 2, I just beat an awesome indie game called Fae Tactics which was this really great Final Fantasy Tactics like game, I'm finishing up another great indie RPG called Bug Fables which is inspired by Super Mario RPG, and after that I'm going to hop in to State of Decay 2 for the first time and try out Hellblade and Weird West. Gamepass gamers are getting the best gaming expiernce the industry has to offer and I've played so many of my favorite games that I wouldn't have otherwise played had they not been on Gamepass. On top of that, according to Metacritic WE ARE PLAYING THE HIGHEST QUALITY GAMES ON THE MARKET!!!!! Stop with the Bull Shit!

One example could be how the Series S or ‘little man’ can’t do 60fps on a bunch of tittles or the most recent example, Stranger of Paradise legit looking like a ps2 game on it. I wouldn’t drop the show man, but I get why you’re frustrated. Maybe try again next week but keep wording in mind when making the write in.

I have been a Patron of CLS/LSM since day one and I also have never missed an episode of Defining Duke. Matty reads at least 25 write ins per episode, but has completely ignored my write in 5 times in a row. “What do y’all think of the longevity of the Series S?” This was based from a comment Matt himself made on the show when Karak was a co-host. The first time, I commented saying it was my first time ever writing in. Even in the thread for this episode, I commented, “I’ve asked this question 5 times. Can I please have it read on the show?” My question is about Xbox, yet I get to hear about peanut butter, chicken wings, soda, and a weekly mention of Starfield. Even worse is the favoritism shown. I noticed it on Matty’s HAM Radio Live podcast (of which I never missed any episodes also) with Paul Lombardo, where he would take Discord calls from the same people every week. Only now have I begun to realize how often he reads write ins from the same people almost every show. Sean Mason and Black Magic Fuckery seem to have their questions read every time, yet I can’t get acknowledged after a month of trying. Goodbye Dukes.

Sure most things are single player but something like Returnal is completely gameplay driven and arcadey and way different than Miles morales, Demon Souls, Horizon, Ratchet and Clank etc. So far on PS5 there has been a good mix of open world action, story based games, hard core games and family friendly ones. I think all they need now is a hit multiplayer franchise like Socom

I've heard before that you get kinda nervous with shorter episodes but you keep it alot more console focused than Sacred Symbols, which will cover PlayStation + Xbox stuff. Keeping it just straight Xbox created challenges with the amount of news you might have but I think it pays off and creates a different vibe compared to SS. Keep up the great work :)
