Fun observation that I found out about. The officer that gets his gun stolen by Reese says that its 12th, May, Thursday. If you follow the events of the movie off that line then that would mean the final chase of the film occurs on the night of a Friday the 13th. I see what you did there Cameron. Anyway, an all time favorite, glad to see it discussed.

Really great episode, I always tend to appreciate the subject matter more after you and Dagan chat about it. In the spirit of KnockBack I'm often obsessed with "old stuff", so when looking for new things to watch I have been going back to stuff I missed or never got around to seeing. I honestly believe that 1984 might be the best year in cinema, at least for Gen Xers and early era Millennials.

2022-06-06 21:10:52 +0000 UTCOn the subject of updating/remaking, they re-did some scenes from this movie for Termintor Genisys. It's interesting to see, and they did a good job. But Id prefer the originals get left alone, seeing the evolution of these visual effects from movie to movie is so interesting and the original is like a historic artifact that should be preserved, and the more we move into digital only future, the new versions and remasters could completely eliminate the originals. I'm not digging my vcr out from the attic.
