Thank you!

Colin Moriarty

This guy is very likable and it's awesome that he appears to know a lot but also did extra research before hand. He should be brought back if anything big ever happens in the football video game space.

Stephen Barr

Hey Daniel, that could actually be fun. DM me.

Colin Moriarty

Colin if you ever need someone to talk about Apex Legends (i.e. a conversation about the battle royale scene), hit me up. Been playing since day one and have 2,300 hours across the PS4/PS5 versions. Also, as a massive football fan, I greatly enjoyed this episode!

Daniel Meegan

Nice. Thanks for listening. =)

Colin Moriarty

Awesome! been looking forward to this one.

It means candy in mine.

Thanks. =)

Did you listen to the show, where we talked extensively about how PES fell off during the PS3 era?

Colin Moriarty

In my language, PES means dog. ,,Skeleton will be back with more useless facts!"

Aladin_Run

I love how you guys actually sit down with fans and educate yourself on something you may not know 100% about. Great way to connect with fans and love this content

I wish there was a third person there with knowledge on fifa and pes to correct a few things. For one the getting laughed at for playing fifa and not pes. FIFA overtook pes with fifa 07 in sales and popularity, and pes became the football game ur dads and uncles played.

Thank you. <3

Easily my most played games through the PS2 era was PES. It was so good. They didn't have many of the licences but the gameplay was far superior. I was part of a fansite forum called PESFan where people would edit all the team names, league names, player names etc and upload the Save Data so you could download it and have your game being as realistic as possible without having yo manually update. Unfortunately, as mentioned in the podcast, the transition to 360/PS3 was a disaster for Konami. To make things worse, FIFA also started to come to town with decent gameplay too. Myself and many friends made the transition and never looked back. I don't play Football games much these days, but I have fond memories of PES on PS2. A magical time. One year I even had a modded version of Winning Eleven that had all the kit sponsors and extra leagues. I'd have to put a disc which would boot a region selector, I'd manually open the PS2 Disc Tray using a credit card cut in the shape of a hook, pop in this souped up modded version of WE and be off to the races. Great times 😊

Goal Storm.

Just a pedantic correction. The series was ISS in Europe (at least the uk) - International superstar soccer. Then they released iss: pro evo 1/2 and maybe 3 and then pro evo became its own series. I even think ISS continued as its own series aswell until early 2000s! πŸ˜…

I usually listen to the podcast and always invision Colin constantly frowning, but realize he smiles way more than I realized when I watch the video lol
