After months of rumors, speculation, and bold predictions, we have now seen everything the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase for 2022 has to offer. As Cog has to aptly put it, it's a journey through many peaks and valleys. For it is here that we see Starfield for the first time ever, Persona arriving to Xbox, Kojima in the flesh, and many other surprises. That being said, this showcase also placed a clear spotlight on the vacancy of this fall where a majority of the first party content has been punted to 2023. Now the Dukes gather and to breakdown every single trailer, announcement, or reveal that dropped.

2022-06-15 14:46:10 +0000 UTCI'm generally not a fan of sci-fi in movies or in video games, but I have kept an open mind in regards to Starfield. I was waiting for the big gameplay reveal before forming an early opinion of the game. To be honest, the gameplay that was shown did not impress me in the slightest. It felt very boring, stale, and outdated. Those who are excited for the game, that's awesome. Yet, I look at Starfield and just think that Bethesda might not have that special something they used to have years go. Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one here who saw big No Man's Sky vibes.

2022-06-15 00:00:46 +0000 UTCI respect you boys kept it tall. I seen other takes treat the Xbox showcase like it was 10/10. I personally have to give it 3/10. I enjoyed Fallout 3. I will play STARFIELD on XCloud. But Honestly the game was giving me "No Mid Sky," because at the end of the day this is Bethesda. You can give a crackhead a new suit, but they still a crackhead. Thats the vibe I was getting.

I think the outposts are just like Todd described, they’re your bases to gather resources and NPCs and decorate. I just hope they’re not mandatory in too many missions like in Fallout 4. Starfield looks ok but not the heavy hitter I was expecting. It gives me Mass Effect 1 vibes but lesser. Overall, I was very disappointed by this showcase. Good presentation but nothing I really want to spend money for Game Pass on outside of Starfield. Not sure what I’ll be turning on my Series X for with the rest of the year. #PersonaDD

2022-06-13 23:00:45 +0000 UTCI was very happy with the whole show, I have plenty of games to play until the heavy hitters come out (from everyone).... Xbox is hardly the only people with a problem with hitting 2022 dates. Once they announced Silk Song day 1 I was completely happy and stayed happy. My only gripe was, Putting Forza/Flight sim back to back was a weird pacing choice.

I can’t understand how matty is trying to say this is the only next gen game?! Like what rose tinted Bethesda fan telescope are you looking at this game through matty? There many CROSS GEN games that not only look better but also PLAY better from a gameplay perspective. You need to stop lying matty.. starfield looks ok. Not anywhere near the mind blowing game that people hyped it to be tho

2022-06-13 18:04:42 +0000 UTCI think the reason why they put the the DLC and expansions in the main show is because not many people are going to watch the extended show. Constant advertising every year helps drive up player count. Sea of Theives would have never got to 30 million players if they hadn't done this. Not sure how long that can continue if they have more and more live service games on the go but it seems to be serving its purpose.
