Sacred Symbols+, Episode 208 | Gushing About Vita (and More!) With Gio Corsi (Video)

New patron here so I’m catching up on some older episodes of Sacred Symbols+. Didn’t realize Gio worked on the MTV Spider-Man animated series. It was a pretty cool and edgy show that had Neil Patrick Harris as Spider-Man. Not my favorite Spider-Man cartoon but one I enjoyed. Pretty cool how wide-spanning Goo’s career is. Great episode!

I remember being really excited for the Vita and feeling really confused that no one I knew had any interest but I am one of the few people who can say the death of the Vita wasn't my fault because I pre-ordered it the Christmas before it came out I have been buying games for it since the beginning also I bought another Vita because I ran my original into the ground also I tried my best to tell people how great it was and I did convince some people

I dunno, I think the exact opposite, personally. Quality is frankly not that high on Gamepass. There are some great games, but what is the mean Metacritic score?

It only just hit me when the two questions about quality control and subscriptions were read back to back. In a way, the subscriptions ARE the quality control. Your ramshackle game can go on our marketplace and be in the spotlight for a week or so and then it's gone. BUT, if it hits PS Extra we're going to vet it, we're going to essentially sell your games in one fell swoop with a financial deal, spotlight it for weeks on our social platforms, and IGN is even going to write an article about it coming to our service. THIS is the new Nintendo seal of quality. Sure, not all quality games will make it to the service (especially triple A), but I know when I play a Game Pass game it's going to be of a certain caliber, even if it's not my style. Hopefully I remember to put this on next week SS' thread because I'd love to hear the boy's thoughts...

This was a fantastic interview. Loved the conversation. And I really wanna know what these ex playstation personas like Gio, David Jaffe, John Garvin and others think of our lord and saviour Jim Ryan's era of Playsataion. Is PS too businessy now or is it still on the right track. Im very intrigued by that notion.
