The price increase in Europe does not change anything in fact. The cheapest PS5 digital is listed in my country for 638€ and the cheapest disc version is 685€. The offers are typicaly something like: a console plus two games, games will be specified later... you cannot get it for MSRP at all. 2022-09-05 22:14:47 +0000 UTCI think the reason they didn't increase the price in the US is because the US is the one place in the world where the currency is actually stable. Despite the short term inflation for a couple months, the US's inflation is much lower than the rest of the world, and the Euro has dropped below the dollar for the first time in ages. The wars in Europe, the price shocks in the middle east and northern africa due to fuel and food shortages, and the instability in Asia due to China saber rattling has lead to money flooding into the US economy for stability in an unstable world.
