The darkest 😂 I don't know how we survived tbh

Liam Mcnulty

It was annoying as shit. You couldn't sync Trophies! It was a dark time.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you. <3

Colin Moriarty

You're very welcome. Thanks for watching!

Colin Moriarty

I'm glad that you're enjoying. Thank you!

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! So glad you liked it. <3

I remember being annoyed I couldn't do the online portion of Portal 2 for the platinum. Got it in the end though. #NeverForget

Liam Mcnulty

Great video! I have fond memories of this time in gaming history. Colin and Greg were like good buddies talking about this each week culminating in the greatest podcast ever with the after-hours celebration podcast. Good times.

Francis Bryan

Damn that was top notch. Thanks for the great video.

Ryan R. Kittredge

Production value is way better. Initial videos seemed to basically just be voice over generic gameplay footage without much focus on what was actually on screen, nothing was really lost by just listening to the audio version rather than watching the video. These new ones are much better as videos, well done.

Rob

Jesus Christ. The first rebooted episode of Side Quest kind felt like your first match in Rocket League or in an online shooter. It's not bad. In fact you might even win the match. You just sort of haven't gotten your full bearings back yet. This second episode felt like you guys really clicked in and nailed it. Like you slipped into "the zone" and had a hella-powerful killstreak and/or just carried your teammate all the way through the match. I remember very clearly being part of that outage. The lady who would later become my wife and I had just started dating, and I had just started crashing there enough to consider bringing my PS3 over (She was into Sonic All-Stars racing since it was close to Mario Kart). The PS3 outage was a really cool opportunity for her and I to discuss gaming as a whole. So sure, the outage sucked, but I remember she and I going for ride of the motorcycle or spending a lot of time hiking through the various cave systems here in Ohio during that part of the year. From a consumer stand-point, it was ridiculous. But as a person, it actually turned into a pretty positive experience. Like many others, the outage is what introduced me to Infamous. I hadn't really heard much about it until that point. But again. Destin, Sophia, and our overlord Colin, great job on this.

Thanks!

sophia narwitz

Well done, Sophia 👏🏼👏🏼

Corey Adams

Thank you for watching, and for your support!

Colin Moriarty

Oh, that's all Sophia. =)

Colin Moriarty

This is fantastic! Thanks for making my pledge feel like a real investment!

Magister Obscura

That lag joke at the end 😂 Dagan’s dad jokes are rubbing off on you

Corey Adams

Obligatory "that's what she said"

sophia narwitz

Right?!

Tony Rivera

Thank you! <3

Colin Moriarty

When I was reading and editing the script, I kept saying to myself, "I can't believe this happened literally eight years ago." Time flies.

Colin Moriarty

All visuals are Dustin. Thanks for watching!

Colin Moriarty

It just didn't feel right. =)

Colin Moriarty

I really do think SOCOM is coming back.

Colin Moriarty

Thank you so much!

Colin Moriarty

Thank you! I was more hands-on with this script than the Konami script, which maybe allowed me to read it better? I dunno. But I'm glad you enjoyed!

Colin Moriarty

Kellayyyy.

Colin Moriarty

You should be ashamed of yourself that you didn't own Infamous in 2011.

Colin Moriarty

Excellent video. A palpable jump in quality. Go Sophia.

TrackyMatts

An infamous day indeed. I still remember where I was and what happened.. like it was yesterday. Can’t wait to see it! Keep up the great work, Col, and thanks to your team!

Tony Rivera

You can take me higher Dustin

Marc Elfering

I wanted to add a “Yueaah!” sound effect, but couldn’t find a good one. Glad I could bring you some joy through the power of Creed.

Dustin Furman

Colin, I don't know whether you or Dustin do the graphics for the side quest videos now (either way they're fantastic) but that Scott Stapp reference made me laugh out loud. Long live Creed

Marc Elfering

This is the future we must push back against at all cost.

Colin is tyrannical, we need to rise up and strip him of his power.

sophia narwitz

How dare you exempt that Dragon ball z reference you fascist! Disallowing freedom of expression is the downfall of democracy!!

There’s No I in LLC

This is still something I talk about with people. It’s a shame what happened with Socom but wouldn’t it be cool to see ppl get excited for a new one on ps5 when it launches.

Jmlucas18

Thanks!

sophia narwitz

The Surge wasn't bad. It had some flaws, but I'm excited for the upcoming sequel.

sophia narwitz

These past couple of Side Quests have been excellent. Sophia’s involvement as a script writer is definitely noticed.

Michael Miller

Awesome video Colin. I'm really digging the new format for side quest.

Michael Candelaria

The Surge is INCREDIBLY underrated. It’s in the same vein as Dark Souls but faster, loot driven, and plays like a dream imo. Check it out Colin, I’d be very interested to hear your opinion on the game.

Craig Carter

Besides the script itself being great, idk if you tried something different in terms of how you read it, but WOW this one was great. I liked how natural sounding and smooth it rolled. Good stuff everyone involved!

Kyle Goodrich

Can I be the first to say "Awaaaaaah"?

Martin

But hey, I got Infamous and Wipeout HD for free, so it wasn't all bad.
