Man I totally forgot this existed, I chuckled at the comment about indies struggling to get on major platforms back then, Fast forward a few years and I think we all wish it was just a bit harder. Good job as always CLS team, I am really enjoying these smaller surprises.

Ryan Murdoch

Thank you!

I wanted to do this Ouya episode because it was timely, but we're otherwise cruising through Patreon-promised topics first, and then we'll get to other stuff. So, late July, early August, you'll start seeing some different stuff filter through.

Colin Moriarty

I don't even think I know what that is.

Colin Moriarty

WTF happened to Human element where is that game?

Fantastic !!!

It’s good to see this channel be more lively. I wonder what topic you have next. Personally would love to hear a more light hearted episode on dead ips and why they died. So many amazing ps1/2 games that where fun but all but disappeared one day

Thank you!!! <3

Glad you liked it! Thank you.

Colin Moriarty

Thanks! She's doing great. She really dives into the sources.

Wow, how'd you miss Ouya!? =D

Colin Moriarty

Yeah, she wrote it. Basically, I tell her what I want topic-wise, she writes the script, I edit it, add stuff, subtract stuff, reword stuff, etc., I usually ask her to add a few things, I make a few more tweaks, and then I record the audio, assemble it, and send it to Dustin for editing. (Run on sentence alert!) I'd say her Konami script was mostly her, there was a lot of me in the PSN script, and it's a hodgepodge of the two with Ouya. But she basically lays it out and gives us a fact-based skeleton to work from in written form. It's great. It's working out great. 'Cause I really don't have the energy to write right now.

Colin Moriarty

Ohhhh!

Wow amazing episode ! Really in depth and informative. I love the length of it. Never got bored and feel full after. Keep it up !

Great video and really enjoyed the heavy amount of in-depth research. The addition of Sophia is immediately showing itself as a great addition to the CLS team. I remember around when OUYA was announced and thinking in what world would I want a device that allows me to play basically the then equivalent of mobile games and little else beyond that; a device that would not be capable of playing such mainstream heavy hitters such as Madden, COD, or AC on day one seemed to me like it would attract little if any attention from the general market. As well as being particularly confused as to why every gaming or tech website I read about this device on pre-launch were in unison saying that all my negative concerns were actually positives for the device's inevitable success. Jump to me post-launch seeing literal pallets of these things sitting in the middle of a Best Buy not long after it finally did come out (witnessed the same sight with On-Live devices). This was a great look back to the long gone days of "PS4 and Xbox One are going to be the last 'true' consoles."

This was fantastic. Very interesting. Loving the new side quests

Nate McKinney

This was one hell of a video, and the script was on point. I had no idea that console was a thing until I watched this video.... LOL πŸ˜‚

Will Hahn

This was really fucking good. Did Sophie write this? I've been enjoying her work so far.

It was obvious from the get-go to me, too, but alas, not to many others.

Colin Moriarty

This was a great video Colin, I remember when people on Tumblr were making a big deal about this system while I was in college. It just looked like one of those Walmart rip off consoles that are in the toy section, so I steered clear away.
