There is virtually nothing positive about Chinese corporations investing in western companies, from my perspective. Their money comes with too much baggage and too many risks. They exist in a pseudo-capitalistic, totalitarian system, and that comes at a cost.

Surprised to hear the shit talk on base PS4 owners. I rarely buy games at full price, but keep up with games media to make informed purchasing decisions. Therefore I haven't played the most recent ps4 games, so things may have changed in the last year, but... I have the base ps4 and I haven't encountered a game which makes me wish I'd sprung for a PS4 pro. If CD project just came out and said Cyberpunk is going to be a ps5 game because it simply can't run on ps4, I wouldn't care. However, since they've said it's a PS4 game, itd be ridiculous if I didn't run on base PS4. Contrary to Chris's opinion that I shouldn't expect PS4 games to run well on ps4... Idk if Sony has released PS4 pro specific numbers, but I would guess at least 70% of ps4s in the wild are base models. Therefore people like me are in the majority of gamers and it is the right decision for CD to take a long delay

1. I'm a Kingdom Hearts fan...and I hated basically everything about 3, save the combat (because playing it is actually fun af), and the last 4 or 5 hours of the story. That said, we'll see about the new announcements. At this moment I don't have a lot of faith. Disney is way too involved in KH as it is right now. And it's new-age Disney, no less. It's just too sanitized, and they're afraid to take risks with this game like they used to. They gave Square Enix the reigns back in the day, and with KH3 they were like "okay now just throw Sora into the movies, make the movies playable. Your original story? Throw it in haphazardly." And that's how I imagine that meeting went. Also, a small correction I like to remind people of; KH3 wasnt announced until 2013. KH2 came out in 2005, so yes, there were 13 years or so between the two, but we weren't waiting on 3 for 13 years. 2. I have a base xbox one and I can't wait for the new consoles. Playing new games for the last 2 years has been almost an inconvenience. You guys talk about Control being "the tip of the spear" with these issues, and I disagree. It came well before that. I have a PS4 Slim and God of War 2018 made my machine sound like it was going to launch to the moon. Sekiro's load times on my xbox were insane (still goty tho and happy about it). Borderlands 3s menus are unbearable. Controls load times and random stuttering (I loved the game despite all of this though.) I could go on. But yeah. Like ya'll said, if you're playing on old tech like I am and are mad about these slow-downs idk what to tell you. We need new tech and I cant wait for it! PS: I'm not a pithy person when it comes to this stuff, so I dont ever expect to have my stuff read on the show lol. I have a lot to say and used to run a gaming blog but hated doing that. I should probably have a podcast to be honest.

I almost always sit to urinate in the middle of the night. Usually, if I have to get up to pee I have a raging boner which often results in a less than ideal angle or multiple streams. Sitting allows me to put that sucker in there (if I sit farther back) and ensure that all the urine makes it in the toilet and not some on the shower curtain, some on the floor, some in the toilet. I'm usually trying to preserve my sleepiness and cleaning up piss would really mess that up. Fun side note, my wife uses a funnel to pee when we go hiking or kayaking so she can pee standing up and not have to take her pants down or squat in front of others. :)

Couldn't agree more regarding IP films. Having said that, a The Order tv show or anime would be pretty incredible. Gives credence to the theory of needing an interesting world. Btw, what are your thoughts on prequels? I can't stand them, which is why Nioh2 is ruined for me (apparently it's a prequel). If you're anything like me, don't feel pressured to play Nioh1 first. :)

A really interesting topic, as a shareholder myself. Reports of upwards of 90 % of shareholders already sold their stocks. There has been NO articles in the norwegian media about the company becoming chinese. Its time people wake the f up! Another interesting note is the stock have been a favorite for small time traders. So the news itself is really big and effects a lot of shareholders. None of the discussions have been about China/Censorship/Surveillance suddenly owning Norway's largest game company of all time.

Okay you both have officially never bombed a hill on a scooter and Chris has apparently never been on a bike. UNLESS your bike is fixed-gear which is a niche subculture, the pedals do NOT spin on their own. Bombing a steep hill on a scooter is SO tough because the wheels are so small that any bump or error in holding the handle bars will result in you eating brutal shit.

In regard to the "We don't need this" comments about the Uncharted movie, it's not about whether you (or I) "need" an Uncharted movie. It's about whether Sony thinks it will make them money. And why is there this kind of reaction when a movie based on a game property is announced, but not when a movie based on a book is announced? Seems odd.
