VFX Video Survey/Poll Results & Spicy Comic Delay

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know that the artist for the new comic has requested an additional week on the first 4 pages so the first half of Greedy Daemon part 2 will unfortunately be delayed until the 28th. To try and avoid delays like this in the future I've started reaching out to other artists for a suitable replacement, I'll keep you all posted. However we will be releasing the first VFX Producer Video in the next few days so there will be content during that time.

Anyway, onto the poll results!

TLDR: VFX Videos are going to be longer - between 5 and 10 minutes, some more horror themes are being experimented with, new VFX like the slime is being tested and the "Choose Your Own Adventure" possession video is being designed.

Longer Videos

The clear winner of the poll was longer videos and I think we've found the sweet spot with videos like "Velma's Ghost Encounter". Now it's important to note that when I'm trying out new models I'll lean towards that 5 minute length because of how often videos can end up in the Scrapyard if the video comes out poorly, but models with a proven track record will always be closer to the 10 minute mark because of the almost guarenteed quality.

Tone & Themes

The sentiment seems to be that the current tone of the videos, "light hearted but spicy." is very much enjoyed but I did find that there's a desire for some darker and horror themes so I'll be working those themes in where appropriate.

Visual Effects

Ghostly Appraritions and Body Transformations were #1 on the list but audio effects were close behind. The first of the new VFX was the slime featured in Velma's video which was a smash hit, and I am very excited to continue pushing the envelope of what we can do.

Choose Your Own Adventure

The majority of you expressed interest in this and so I've began work on the project. This is going to be quite the undertaking but I will keep you all updated on how it is progressing.
