Last Milestone Achieved! New Milestone Style!

Hey everyone,

First off, a huge thank you for all the amazing support and growth! Because of this, I’m excited to announce that VFX videos will now be 60% longer, going from an average of 5 minutes to 8 minutes! With the final milestone of our current roadmap complete, it’s time to introduce the next set of milestones, but with a twist.

This time, milestone growth intervals will stay at $250 (with one exception), but each time we hit one, I’ll run a poll with the options from the milestone bucket. This way, you’ll get to decide which milestone we tackle next, ensuring we’re always moving in the direction you want.

What are the options?

Upgraded VFX Video (1 per month): Features custom animations, such as replacing VFX Spirit Balls with more complex entities like a Dementor-style possessor (see note 1 below).
Regular Animations (Double Milestone): Depending on complexity, our animator can produce either monthly or bi-monthly animations (details in note 2).
Choose Your Own Adventure VFX Possession Video (1 per month): The first video is in production and will likely be hosted on my website—more details soon!
Increased Spooky Island Chronicles Frequency: A 33% boost in release frequency.
Increased Spicy Comic Frequency: This will require switching to a new artist capable of producing more than 4 pages per month.
Two Additional 3D Stills per Month: Doubling our current 3D art output.
Additional Chapter of TCOSI per Month: Doubling the release of The Curse of Spooky Island chapters.
Additional Page of TCOSI per Month: Increasing from 7 to 8 pages per month.

Note 1: The upgraded VFX videos are different from the VFX budget. While the regular budget covers reusable 3D models and effects, this milestone funds unique, custom animations tailored for specific videos.

Note 2: Our animator is able to produce full animated scenes, but due to the higher cost, this milestone will require a $500 target instead of the usual $250. I’m really looking forward to expanding our animation library!
