Hey Colin, Appreciate the PSVR coverage! To maybe clear up the confusion you had regarding the PSVR and PS5. PSVR is an input/output peripheral. So think of it as a screen and controller combined. LowFi needs to run on the PS5 because it requires the power of the PS5 for the game engine probably. However, there is no issue in using the input from PSVR1 and outputting to the screen of the PSVR1. I suspect many current PC VR games (HL:Alyx), will only be playable on PS5. Given that VR requirements are quite high (need 60fps as minimum), the PS4 will, and does, struggle on many games. Lastly, you might ask, why even have a PSVR2 then. Well this will improve the input accuracy and output fidelity, similar to how a 4K screen and the dualsense will improve the user experience, but a 1080p and dualshock will still be acceptable for PS5 games. This is the exact reason why the PSVR2 will not split the install base, but rather be seen as a premium option alongside the PSVR1. Cheers, Pete

This is precisely what happens to me. Comes out of nowhere, doesn't seem to have any pattern, is incredibly (almost entirely) unbearable with pain, and then you get it all out and it totally goes away, and you feel like you want to go to sleep. I'd say I'm glad to know I'm not alone, but it sucks you experience it, too.

Hey C and C, I dont normally write in, but this is a dire "Shit"uation once again. I get those episodes where I shit my brains out every morning, sometimes throughout the day. It wakes me up at like 6:00 am , and has grown to become my alarm clock for work. I constantly explode the toilet's which is a damn mess, and I have to clean it up. I compare it sometimes to a canon ball that all comes out all at once, it explodes in the toilet's with a blast radius to match, then like you, all the pain will go away. What did you do to take control of your stomach? Any help would be nice.... the visual of you sweating naked on the toilet was too real for me. It happens to me far too often.

Sacred Symbols is fine without another host. Surprised you liked the HouseMarque game. I thought it looked kinda generic. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Considering what Spider-Man set up in 1, I think the Miles game sounds like a nice filler between the two. Plus, if they add coop in the sequel then they can really emphasize calling it Spider-Man 2. I’ve never heard Caramel pronounced as Car-Mel except for that 1 Nestle Crunch commercial with Shaq. Thanks for taking my question. You guys had the same reaction I did. The Jeff argument was interesting because I got what he was saying meanwhile a buddy of mine felt like it was an uncalled for comparison.

I come here to listen to Colin and Chris. Even though I do love when channels can provide an opportunity to let new voices be heard, I think it would be a mistake to add a regular third voice to the podcast. You fall in love with a Podcast or a Youtube channel because of the people/entertainers and when that gets changed around it is never the same. Just my two cents. Another great episode guys!

Holy shit, I thought I was the only one who had those bowel episodes, just as Colin described! The stomach cramping pain would be so bad that I would lose feeling in my arms and legs, I even lose partial vision - everything goes black and I can only see faint outlines of objects. I had an episode once right before a wedding and an hour before it began I found myself stripped down naked, my formal attire hanging on the cubicle hook, and I am lying on the cool (and disgusting) tiles of a public bathroom to cool myself down from sweating. I've always called these incidents, "Brown outs" as often times I teeter on the edge of consciousness through the poop. Sorry about the graphic details but I've had these for a really long time. I have not had an incident for a few years (which I believe is diet related). I made drastic improvements to my diet for yet another unrelated medical issue, and the brown-outs stopped.

What are your first impressions of 13 Sentinels from story and gameplay trailers, Colin? I know that the game has received limited media attention in the West so far, since it was unclear if it was coming here until this week (unless I missed a press release earlier this year or last). I’m intrigued, and it’s not Vanillaware’s first foray into an RTS/strategy game from my understanding. Personally, I really want a PS4 Muramasa port...even though I am aware of the PS Vita port several years ago. In any case, I am a Vanillaware fan and may pick this up in September.

In regards to cyberpunk 2077, I'd rather be disappointed that it's late rather than being disappointed with the game itself. 2 cents.

I think having a third person should definitely be a decision that comes naturally from both of you guys. Whether the audience wants it or not shouldn't necessarily matter (unless of course you see a dramatic drop in listeners/Patrons). But people don't like change so announcing that this could be a thought will be shot down pretty quick, where as if people just hear it they might be more willing to go with it. Sort of like what happened with the Podcast when you guys did it remotely before the move to prove the point that it would sound just as good as it did in person. Perhaps if it ever did happen, maybe try an episode of SS+ and gauge the reaction from there. IF it were to ever happen in the future of course.

I think you both work well together however sometimes there is a gap in the conversation that could be filled by someone who does like other genres that you don't necessarily play such as racing games. For example in last weeks podcast you didn't seem to understand why sackboy was shown at the event or if the games are relevant anymore. Or even bugsnax for that matter and if the games would do well. I thought it was pretty obvious they wanted to appeal to every type of gamer and that includes kids or just people like me who like all genres. And since you don't like these types of games they don't get any attention on them. I hope that makes sense.

Regarding Jeff Cannata and Jason Schreier, how are we still being nice to Jason? The guy has completely switched course in the past two years, has lost all credibility in most of his takes, and is beyond reductive and is a total hypocrite. He criticizes Jeff for comparing TLOU2 to Schindler’s List, yet makes Jewish jokes about the game in his twitter replies. As someone who’s 1/8th Jewish and hears stories from my granddad about how our family escaped Germany right before everything went down seems like a joke to him when he wants it to be, but then criticizes anybody else who uses it in any manner. We need to call this guy out for what he really is: a shell of a former journalist.

Speaking on the glib nature of Jason's bullying...after a while on Twitter you start to get weary of it. It all becomes so tiresome and predictable, you know when you see the internet harassment train get going the usual suspects are gonna come out to make petty comments purposefully misconstruing a topic for easy internet points. At this point on Twitter I just follow gaming news, not personalities, and also this twitter handle that posts pictures of cute rats. Internet is a lot more manageable that way. I take off all the time for games. I have horrible FOMO and my wife is cool with it as well. If I'm excited for a game I will take off 2-3 days and just play as much as possible to get it out of my system. I just got a new job, though so I had to wait until Friday night to play TLoU2. Likely almost entirely internet reaction, the game is 20ish hours and came out yesterday and I doubt all the people leaving 0/10s or even 10/10s have played more then a few hours at most. Most people who have the game are too busy playing it to write a fan review on Metacritic

Gamepass undermines new releases? Your game only gets put on there if the publisher and devolpers agree to a deal with microsoft. Whats with people arguing against thier best interest? Backwards compatibility, Gamepass, smart delivery, cross play? Xbox is making extremely consumer friendly policies and is forcing Sonys hand. People should applaud. Regarding timed exclusives...I disagree about seeing less of them this generation. I think due to Games Pass many many developers and publishers will just bring their game to PlayStation first and release a year later or so later on Xbox followed closely by Games Pass. Games Pass undermines new releases and undercuts sales.... so I think this will be a strategy of publishers going forward.

This is true. Don’t know specific numbers. But Titanfall 1 was big on Xbox One, PC, and I think it sold well even with its 360 port. The problem with Titanfall 1 was not the platform it was on. It was that it was literally exciting and fun to play for about 13.5 days after it’s release. I’ve never been apart of a multiplayer launch that just....died so quickly. Wasn’t the moment to moment gameplay, just lack of focused content, in terms of game modes and support in general.

The entire alleged existence of Lockhart is based on the rumor that it's a 4 TF model with a weaker GPU and memory bandwidth but the same architecture as the SX as part of Xbox strategy to undercut the PS5 with a cheaper, no-disk SKU in order to entice ppl to join and sign up for Games Pass and Xcloud streaming.

I think the point of a video cast is that it wouldn't be edited and clean. There is something special about something that is "live" and raw. (Even if recorded). I've mentioned it before, but I don't think that works well for a podcast, at least not for everyone. It would be better for lets plays and live reactions to events.

My coworker killed another black guy when he was out looking for trouble at 3 am when he should've been home sleeping with his pregnant wife. (I believe). Dead Space 3 released after EA had begun to prop up their Origin platform, and it got stranded on that service

Also, in your PS4's settings, under "sound and screen", it will tell you if it's displaying in 4k (3840 x 2160) resolution on your particular TV (and with your particular HMDI cable).

It's clear it's a game meant to establish Miles in the universe as an active hero and the true sequel could be more of a "Spider-Men" title as opposed to just a Peter Parker story. Colin, I would try using the HDMI from the wall. It should work fine for 4k/60hz. From what I read there are standard, High Speed and Ultra high Speed HDMI cables. Right now with your PS4 high speed cables are all you should need for 4k/60hz HDR and I would guess the hdmi cable in your wall is High speed since most cables in the last 10 years have been. Ultra High Speed cables are needed for 4k/120hz on HDMI 2.1 devices like your TV and the PS5. Until you get a PS5 or another HDMI 2.1 device a new cable is not needed.

Titanfall 1 was actually a huge success on the Xbox and actually outsold 2 by a long shot early on. Titanfall 2 was released between a bunch of huge games and didn’t have the marketing push from Microsoft which pushed the hell out of that game.

Colin, I vote for adding MrMattyPlays as a third member of Sacred Symbols! He is a well versed youtuber and podcaster that already has an established relationship working with Colin’s Last Stand. He’s proven himself in having a passion for PlayStation in CLS videos specifically the Vita. I think he’d feel right at home to listeners of the podcast and have a great chemistry with not only Colin, but also Chris as well. He’d round out the podcast with games that Colin and Chris don’t have much interest in. He’s the perfect choice. At least it wouldn’t hurt to tryout for an episode or two if messing with the current successful formula concerns you. What do you think Colin and Chris? Who’s with me in our community? The $499 price point for the console with the disc drive sounds right to me, at the high end. I say that because part of me thinks they may go even lower than that; I'm a mad man! I'm with Colin on his perspective on the Spider-Man games. Peter and Miles are characters with rich histories and a lot of material to draw off of. If the content is good, people will not tire of it. Insomniac has earned trust, so I'm excited. I have a similar perspective on the Star Wars sequel trilogy: the idea of "Star Wars burnout" was mostly bullshit to deflect from the outright failure to make great films. If the work is objectively good, I'll eat it up again and again (there are aspects of the film and gaming mediums that can be judged objectively, beyond just production elements alone). People know what they want, and they don't. Many will make well thought out critiques of something and they'll just get: "Well, it's all subjective." in response from people who can't really grasp nuance. Of course, there are true snobs in the entertainment industry that shouldn't be apologized for. Make it good, and make more if you can make that good. Collin, I would STRONGLY suggest you use a shorter HDMI 2.1 or 2.0 cable just to play TLOU2 and just sort of have your PS4 sitting out funny until you get your problem fixed as there is a massive massive difference in TLOU2 between 1080p and 4K HDR.
